Abstract 　本研究は，地域の文化や遺産，環境を念頭に置いた創造的な音楽教育によって，県内の人口減少に起因する課題の改善を図ることを目的としている。同時に，その創作教育を通じて，児童の柔軟な創造力や多様性を認める意識を育むこともねらっている。本研究において実践した取組は，現代音楽的表現を取り入れた即興演奏ワークショップである。
　本稿では2024 年に行った玉野市内の小学校におけるワークショップの内容を中心に論じる。本ワークショップは，児童が柔軟かつ多様な創作表現を実践する場となったが，児童と地域住民らがその地域の特色を認識する機会としては新たな課題を生んだ。地域と創造的音楽教育を結んだ研究は実例が少なく，模索の段階であるため，本ワークショップを省みた上で今後の改善に繋げたい。
