| 抄録 | 本論は，社会的事象を立場と領域というマトリクス構造から考察して課題解決に迫る「マトリクス・メソッド」 という思考ツールを活用した授業展開と，高旗1 の提唱する「自主協同学習の理論」の実践を同時に行った中学 校社会科の実践報告である。 実践の結果，マトリクス・メソッドの持つ二つの機能，つまり事象を多面的・多角的に帰納的に分析する「帰 納的機能」と，意見の根拠の裏付けとなる情報収集をグループで配分し学習過程の協同化を実現する「配分的機能」 を生かした授業の有効性が明らかになった。また，自主協同学習の理論の実践の分析から，マトリクス・メソッ ドの有効性を担保する集団形成の要因として，コミュニケーションに関する因子とともに学級自治に関する因子 が存在することが明らかになった。 |

| 抄録 | 本研究は，市民社会に寄与し得る有権者の育成を目指し，児童・生徒の発達段階に応じた有権者教育のあり方 を追究して，小学校から高等学校までの12 年間を一貫する原理にもとづいた有権者教育プログラム開発のため の原理と方法を解明しようとするものである。そのために，第一に，子どもたちの政治に対する認識調査を行い， 子どもたちが政治的な概念についてどのような認識を持っており，それを教育によってどの程度まで変容させる ことができるかを明らかにした。そして，第二に，その調査の結果と従来の政治教育研究の成果をふまえて，有 権者教育のための小中高一貫カリキュラム・フレームワークを提示した。それに基づいて，第三に，具体的な単 元開発を行った。単元は，「選挙」，「議会」，「税金」という政治学の基本的概念をテーマとして取り上げて開発 したが，本稿では「選挙」概念をテーマとして開発した小学校社会科の単元を紹介する。 |

| 抄録 | 音楽は，園生活の中で領域「表現」の活動の一つとして取り入れられているが，活動の在り方は様々である。 本研究では，園生活における観察から，幼児の自発的な音楽を介した表現の実態を明らかにすることを試みた。 その結果，幼児が自分の感情や状況を歌詞になぞらえたりして，自発的に音楽を介した表現を行う姿が見られた。 音楽を介した表現によって，自他の感情調整の役割を果たすことが明らかになった。また，歌詞に合わせた身体 表現は，未熟な言語力を補完する役割を担っていた。共通に知っている歌は表現したい意図や，感情を共有する 際の媒体となって，幼児間のコミュニケーションを円滑にする役割も担っていることが示された。 幼児の自発的な表現を引き出すためには，保育者が音楽技術の習得を目指した指導的なかかわりをするのでは なく，音楽を介した自己表現として肯定的に受け止め，応答する援助が欠かせないことが明らかにされた。 |

| 抄録 | 本研究は，岡山県の中学校教育における合唱活動の現状と，その課題点を明らかにすることを目的とする。そ のために，学習指導要領の分析，合唱連盟の加盟団体数及びNHK 全国学校音楽コンクールへの参加校数の他県 との比較，県内中学校の音楽科教員へのインタビュー調査を行った。その結果，①岡山県は合唱指導を得意とす る教員が少なく，音楽の授業や合唱・歌唱指導の内容に差が生じていること②指導者不足により，合唱部の活動 が衰退していること③現場の教員は生徒指導に多くの時間を割かなければならず，授業や部活動に力を入れにく いことが明らかになった。 |

| 抄録 | 本研究の目的は，岡山大学教育学部で行われている3 年次の教育実習（主免実習）に関する学生の意識を検討 することであった。そのために，平成25 年度の受講生アンケートより小学校教育コース，中学校教育コースの 学生のデータを分析した。そして，実習前の実習生の実習に向けた取り組みや不安感，実習の充実度，実習前後 の教職志向性の変容，教育実践力を構成する4 つの力について着目した。その結果，（１）実習生の実習に対す る不安は全体的に高く，特に授業に関する不安が高いが，指導教員や実習生との関係に関しての不安は低いこと， （２）実習の充実度が高いこと，（３）実習の充実度に関わらず教職への魅力感は実習前後で高まるが，教職志望 度や教員採用試験受験意志は実習の充実度が高い学生が高まること，（４）実習の充実度が高い学生はそうでな い学生に比べ4 つの力のうち「学習指導力」を除く力において部分的に自己評価が高いこと，が主に示唆された。 |

| 抄録 | 教員養成における学校現場での実践的・体験的活動が昨今一層求められている。教育再生実行会議での提言 や中央教育審議会での報告でも，採用前の学生の学校現場でのボランティア活動を推奨している。こうした中， 2013 年度の岡山大学におけるスクールボランティア活動の登録者数が大幅に減少した。要因としては学校現場 でのインターンシップ活動が必修化された点が大きいが，インターンシップとボランティアの長短を学生は理解 し参加していく必要がある。こうした社会的要請や大学における課題などを踏まえ，スクールボランティアビュー ローに新たに「学生スタッフ制度」を設けた。学生の立場から，スクールボランティア活動を多面的に支援し， 関連事業の企画・参画・連携を学生と教職員が協働して実施するものである。最初の取り組みとして，2014 年4 月には「スクールボランティアフェア2014」を開催した。 |

| 抄録 | The purpose of this study is to build a forecast system for predicting at minimum air temperature in the next morning from the meteorological data, such as air temperature, humidity, and the amount of solar radiation, in a field in the evening on the previous day. The meteorological data are sent to a relay server, and then, transferred to a PC in our laboratory of Okayama University by executing the computer program to import the data which are used to calculate the predicted values of minimum air temperature. The predicted minimum air temperatures are released for the farmers on the website in the server of Okayama University. The website is also created by our laboratory. As a result, the predicted minimum air temperatures agreed with the measured ones. |

| 抄録 | The main purpose of this study is to explain the production and shipment of eggplant and the management of farm households in the 7th division of the Kojima bay reclaimed land in Okayama prefecture. 10 pioneers began to cultivate eggplant in a greenhouse in 1969 and the number of farm households, acreage and shipment increased dramatically until the early 1980s. However, decline or stagnation trend has continued thereafter. Farm workers are often 50 years old or more, each farmer has cultivated eggplant, rice, two-rowed malting barley in family management by 2 or 3 persons. Work begins in July. Eggplant seedlings are planted in August, harvest begins in October and heating in November. Pest control is necessary throughout the year, but pesticide use has decreased in recent years. In order to suppress the occur -rence of the pests, workers use both the bunker crops like sesame and natural enemies like Amblyseius swirskii . However, because the prices of agricultural materials and fuel are recently soaring, the farm management of eggplant has become increasingly severe. We propose to expand the sales network by advertising and a more aggressive acceptance of new farmers. |

| 抄録 | This study investigated the civil consciousness on the preserved trees in Himeji city, Hyogo prefecture. We conducted data collection in the city hall,,observed preserved trees, and examined the awareness of citizens against the preserved trees in the central area and Syosya-zan Engyo-ji. As a result, it was revealed that the citizens are not indifferent to the natural environment of trees, etc., they also do not have a strong interest in it in particular. As for preserved tree system, there were some slight differences in the recog -nition between the people who actually take care of trees and administration. People are in favor of the need for the current system of preserved trees. However, in Japan, which is blessed with many things, people do not recognize strongly appreciating the natural environment. |

| 抄録 | Preliminary analyses on the seasonal cycles of the large-scale atmospheric mean fields and the cyclone activity in Europe were performed based mainly on the NCEP/NCAR re-analysis data, at the viewpoint comparing with those in East Asia. As for the climatological monthly mean fields (1981~2010), the meridional temperature gradient in East Asia presents striking seasonal change with the maximum in winter and the minimum in summer. It is interesting that such transition from winter to summer and that from summer to winter occur rather rapidly accompanied by the great temperature increase around April to June and the decrease around October to November, respectively, in a wide region of 40~70N. On the other hand, the temperature gradient in Europe is significantly smaller with slight seasonal change than that in East Asian winter. By the way, in spite of the above difference of the horizontal temperature gradient between Europe and East Asia, the cyclone activity does not seem to be so weak even around Europe. Thus, the seasonal cycles of the characteristics of the cyclones and their environmental fields around Europe were examined. At the first step, we analyzed the daily cyclone activity in Europe for January and July of 2000. Many low pressure centers at the surface level appeared in both January and July. Referring also to the daily maps of sea level pressure and geopotential height at 500 hPa level, we found that not only the cyclones corresponding to the baroclinic instability waves, but also to the cold vortices which amplitudes increased with height appeared frequently. Moreover, it is interesting that the large-scale cold vortex, which embeds the shortwave trough with the low center at the surface level, appeared in the northern Europe in July as in East Asian winter, when such multi-scale systems sometimes bring the persisting heavy snowfall events in the Japan Sea side of the Japan Islands. |

| 抄録 | Aerosol is one of the controlling parameter for the global climate and also effects on local health hazards. The measurement of the aerosol was originally carried out as in-situ sampling and mass weight measurement including chemical analysis. Recently, remote sensing method is applied as satellite remote sensing and surface based remote sensing. Skyradiometer and LIDAR are surface based remote sensing system. Skyradiometer measures solar radiation as direct and scattered solar radiation affected by aerosols. LIDAR emit laser beam upward and it is backscattered by overlying aerosols. The backscattered light is received by a telescope and vertical distributions of the aerosols are obtained. These measurements require atmospheric radiation physics. A Skyradiometer and a LIDAR were operated continuously at Okayama University campus and aerosol parameters were obtained from both of the system. Seasonal variations of the AOT (Aerosol Optical Thickness) and Angstrom parameter (α) are evaluated. During some dust events (e.g. yellow sand and PM2.5), time variations of these parameters were identified from both of the measurement system. |

| 抄録 | A relatively high precision and high resolution spatial distribution of the PM2.5 in the south part of the Okayama prefecture, Japan was estimated by the Universal Kriging method and the FOSS4G GIS softwares. The observation data of the PM2.5 were obtained from the Environmental data service site of the Okayama prefecture. The geospatial open data about the research field that used in the research were served by the government research institutes. The spatial analysis were executed by the R (R core team, 2014) and its spatial libraries, maptools (Bivand and Lewin-Koh, 2014), rgdal (Bivand, Keitt and Rowlingson, 2014) and gstat (Pebesma, 2014). The geospatial representation and qualitative analysis of the estimated distribution were performed by the QGIS (QGIS Development Team, 2014) and the Google earth (Google, 2014). The time variant of the PM2.5 concentration by the each observatories in the area were show some cross correlation factor to the SPM10 concentration data. The estimated PM2.5 distribution seems to show that the relatively tight relation to the geospatial factors in the research area. The estimation of a time variant change of the PM2.5 distribution will be required of the further research.. |

| 抄録 | 近年、各教育機関において学力以外の能力に多大な関心を集めてきている。しかし、その能 力概念は、全人的・人格的・非認知的な特性ゆえに能力育成のための方法や評価の確立に困難 さを否めない。そればかりか、我が国の諸機関や諸外国から様々な能力概念が提起され続ける ことで、ますます多様さと曖昧さに陥ってしまった。 そこで、本稿では〈新しい能力〉を鍵として、ここに包括される様々な能力を概観し、これ ほどまでに関心が集まる背景について人的・社会的な観点から考察する。 さらに、〈新しい能力〉と大学のキャリア教育との関係性を紐解き、〈新しい能力〉を使い こなすためのキャリア教育の在り方をケース報告する。また、大学生のキャリア教育だけでな く、小学生の放課後にも焦点を当てて、学童期の発達段階と生活世界にふさわしい〈新しい能 力〉の育成の在り方を提起する。 |

| 抄録 | Four first-year university Listening classes, consisting of 158 students, were given a unit in which they were asked to listen to one episode per week of a popular English episodic television program for homework and to write reaction papers. The purpose was to evaluate whether the unit seemed to improve their listening and their English competence, and to see if the students were interested enough by the shows that they would continue watching the programs on their own afterwards. Students were given questionnaires after the end of the unit, and they felt that the unit had improved their competence. 76% indicated that they intended to continue watching their show, revealing genuine interest. |

| 抄録 | Research suggests that reading strategy usage is influential on L2 reading proficiency. Considering this, the LEC English Department decided to examine students’ reading strategies as a part of its much larger curricular review. The results support existing research showing that more-proficient readers use somewhat more varied strategy usage. Posttest results reveal that a course on reading skills led to some minimal improvements in top-down reading strategies. Implications are discussed. |
