| 抄録 | 近年、4年制大学の増設をはじめとした看護課程における教育の変革が進められつつある。これは質の高い看護の人材を必要とする社会のニーズに応えたものである。著者らはこれらの看護課程に対する意見を、岡山県下の高校で進路指導をしている教師に尋ね、郵送による質問紙法を用いて33名の回答を得た。その結果、以下のことが分かった。1. 51.5％の教師は、看護大学が増えると進学希望者の関心は呼ぶとしており、36.4％は、学生数の一定の増加があるだろうとしている。また、36.4％は教師の立場から看護課程への進学を勧めやすくなると考えている。2. 高校の教師は看護婦不足の理由として労働条件の厳しさを指摘している。3. 高校教師は進路として看護課程を勧める理由を仕事の専門性と奉仕性を多くあげていた。これらは、高等教育化と看護職のイメージの改善の両方が必要であることを示唆している。 |

| 抄録 | 本研究では、看護課程志望の高校生が看護職に対してどのようなイメージを持っているのか、看護教育機関の希望や将来の看護職種の希望は看護職に対するイメージと関係があるのかを明らかにしたいと考えた。岡山県下の全ての高校に在学中の看護課程志望高校生に対して、質問紙調査をおこなった。222名から回答が得られ、分析を行った結果、以下のことが明らかになった。1）看護課程志望高校生は看護職に対して非常に良いイメージを持っており、同時に労働条件の厳しさも理解していた。その良いイメージとは、看護職の持つ尊さや献身性に由来する自負心と、資格のもつ現実的利点であった。しかし、看護職の専門性を表す、高度な知識・判断・技術、生涯教育の必要性の認識は低かった。2）短大・大学を志望する高校生は、看護学校・准看護学校志望者に比べ、看護職は生涯教育を必要とするとイメージしていた。3）看護婦、保健婦、助産婦のどの職種を希望するかによって、看護職に対するイメージに違いがあった。 |

| 抄録 | 高齢化社会の到来に伴い一言で老人といっても幅広い年代が対象となり、一律に老人では説明できない。実際看護をしていると90歳をすぎた老人はその年代迄にはない、穏やかさ、焦りのなさ、人生を達観しているような感じを受けることが多い。そこで90歳以上の老人にみられるイメージや心理面の特徴を明らかにし看護実践の一助としたいと考えた。方法は80歳以上の入院患者50名に身体、生活、家族面からみた現状、他者から見たイメージ、主観的幸福感を調査した。その結果、90歳以上は80歳代にくらべ看護者に肯定的イメージに受け取られる傾向にあった。主観的幸福感を示すモラール得点の総合点では差はなかったが得点する内容に差が見られ、80歳は積極的な生き方で得点しているものが多く90歳代は現状に満足している点で得点している者が多かった。看護者からみたイメージと本人の主観的幸福感は両年代とも肯定的イメージで相関した。 |

| 抄録 | ヘルスプロモーションの理念にそって，住民組織，行政，研究グループが協働して，住民の生活の質の向上をめざした地域保健活動の展開を計画した。まず，休眠状態にあった岡山県M町の健康づくり推進協議会（以下M町協議会と略す）を活性化するため，協議会の委員18人を対象に聴き取り調査を行い，次に，M町協議会でのディスカッションを深めた。1．M町協議会構成団体のうち住民組織は9組織で，このうち6組織は居住地域内の住民の推薦や輪番で代表を選出しており，他の3組織は任意であった。8組織の事務局は行政機関内にあり，活動経費の公費補助率は70％以上であった。2．委員の描く理想の町のイメージとして，福祉の充実した町で老後も安心できるという内容を含んだ回答が多かった。それを実現する為に，住民一人一人が自己管理意識を持つと同時に，協議会が支援的な活動を身近なところで展開することの必要性が挙げられた。3．M町協議会活動への委員の期待は大きく，協議会内での委員間の意思疎通も次第に深められた。事前に聴き取り調査を行ったこと等が効果的に影響したと考えられた。 |

| 抄録 | An alumina-zirconia (AZ) composite powder was prepared by thermal decomposition of the organic precursors, which were synthesized from ethyl acetoacetate aluminium diisopropylate and zirconium n-butoxide. Specific surface area of AZ was higher than that of alumina-zirconia (ALK) prepared from aluminium sec-butoxide and zirconium nbutoxide. True density of AZ was lower than that of ALK. Selective reduction of nitrogen oxide with propylene in oxygen-rich atmosphere on AZ was superior to that on ALK. |

| 抄録 | 1989年1月より12月までの1年間に当院へ入院した慢性呼吸器疾患患者85例（延べ90例）を対象に，その背景因子，臨床的特徴，および温泉療法の臨床効果について検討を加えた。(1)対象85例のうちわけは，気管支喘息65例，肺気腫4例，肺結核症4例，アレルギー性肉芽腫性血管炎3例，閉塞性細気管支炎3例，気管支拡張症2例，慢性気管支炎2例，過敏性肺臓炎2例であり，昨年度と異なり肺結核がやや多かったことが特徴的であった。(2)これら85症例のうち，温泉療法を受けた症例は63例(74.1％)であった。(3)温泉療 法を受けた症例の地域分布では，鳥取県からの入院症例51例では32例(62.7％)であり，同様に岡山県からの入院症例20例では19例(95.0％)，その他の県からの入院症例14例で12例(85.7％)であった。4．温泉療法の臨床効果は，気管支喘息では51例中著効14例，有効27例，やや有効8例，無効2例であり，明らかな有効例は41例（80.3％)であった。 |

| 抄録 | In this paper, the tendency of the number of tourists was examined for some 30 years at several sightseeing-areas in Okayama prefecture. Recently, large-scale parks on well-known theme have been built in Japan, the management strategy of sightseeing-spots is becoming harder. However, it is important for us to understand the peculiarity of local sightseeing-areas and advertise the information on unsophisticated nature and culture linked with surrounding ecological system consistently. Sustainable management of sightseeing-areas is affected and sustained by the thought and life-style of peoples living in the adjacent areas. |

| 抄録 | The aim of the study is to explain the present condition of the rows-of-houses preservation policy of Okayama Prefecture and to examine the samples in Maniwa city, Katsuyama area. Besides, the interview investigation was mainly conducted for residents in the rows-of-houses of preservation area in Katsuyama for giving the concluding remarks about the findings. The traditional private houses in Katsuyama preservation area were partially restored in the 1985-89 and 1993-97 fiscal years by the subsidy from the prefecture. Furthermore, Katsuyamacho at that time founded the subsidy system for maintaining rows-of-houses preservation area (about 25.3 ha) independently in 1993, restored 9 private houses, and made and updated the shop curtains; "Noren". In the point of the observable items, the ground warehouse of structures with gable tile-roofing is visible and it is also in use. Moreover, a latticed window structure, a white wall, and a sea cucumber wall constitute the charm of new rows-of-houses. A stone pavement follows on the riverside at the site facing the Asahi River. There are the remains of an arrival-and-departure place of a flat boat and a brewery, etc. According to our investigation in 2002, the residents were satisfied with "It is easy to live quietly", "the beauty of a natural landscape", "harmony of rows-of-houses and a shop curtain", and "a historical atmosphere", but the recognition of "the creation of active rows-of-houses" was unexpectedly low. Therefore, cooperation between residents and informational sharing are much more required. Consequently, since both the visitors and the residents are satisfied very much with each facilities, such as the whole rows-of-houses, a samurai residence, a brewery, and a restaurant etc., town planning is well organized and attained the priority targets. |

| 抄録 | The agricultural water has manifold functions for farming at community level. However, along with the difficulties to maintain the agriculture water path that are caused by the decreasing of farmers and the aging of the society, the agricultural water is losing its functions even that as water resource for local community. This paper presents a survey of the residential awareness on regional water utilization to find the possibility for the maintenance of agricultural water path. Economic evaluation is tried for the regional warter utilization function. This study is carried out at a regional level that covers both farming households and non farmers. Following three points can be confirmed based on the results of questionnaire survey. Firstly, local citizens admit that the agricultural water does have some values (3,037 Yen per household per year). Secondly, the higher the environmental awareness is, and the longer the citizen has lived there, the higher evaluation to function of the agricultural water can be observed. Thirdly, even within those who is holding high evaluation to the agricultural water, it is thought to be quite difficult to maintain the agricultural water path due to the aging of the society and uneven distribution of the participants. |

| 抄録 | 「田んぼの学校」は平成10年度の国土、文部、農水の3省庁合同で提唱された、環境教育の取組のことである。今年度、岡山県農林水産部耕地課が事業主体となり、そのモデル推進事業を岡山市福谷小学校で実施中。企画とその運営には福谷小PTAとボランティア団体から実行委員を構成してあたっている。私はその常任委員を務めているが、PTAと地域各位の多大な支援のもと年間12回もの多彩な開校が企画され現在までに9回実施、延べ551名の参加者を得ている。それぞれの企画は子供達と実行委員の希望で立案されたが、単なるイベントではなく参加者の自主的な活動によって成り立っている。親と子、そして地域の人々が一体となって架空の学校を育て上げており、この事例は今後の学校のあり方を考える上で大変興味深くかつ有益な活動である。 |

| 抄録 | The influences of air temperature, precipitation, number of rainy days and sunshine duration on the crop situation index of wheat, six-rowed barley and two-rowed barley in Okayama prefecture were analyzed by using the data for the 30-year-period of 1966-1995. The crop situation index of these three crops showed high negative correlation with the precipitation in April and a positive correlation with sunshine duration in April. Precipitation over 150 mm or lesser sunshine duration under 190 hrs in April seems to reduce the yield of wheat and barley in Okayama. |

| 抄録 | A strain (Ixia-B) of bean yellow mosaic virus (BYMV) isolated from Ixia hybrida was characterized and compared with other isolates of BYMV and clover yellow vein virus (CYVV). Ixia-B was transmitted by aphids,Myzus presicae in a non-presistent manner and by sap-inoculation to 11 of 46 species in 5 of 10 families tested, and had a similar host range to that of some BYMV isolates, althrough some defferences were detected. Sap from diseased C. quinoa was infective after 10 min heating at 55℃ but not 60℃, after a dilution to 10-3 but not 10-4, and after 2 days but not 4 days at 20℃.The Virus particles were filamentous rods of about 13×820 nm. Ixia-B contaied a single protein species with a molecular weight of 34,000 and a single viral RNA with approximately 9,000 bases. In ultrahtin sections of leaf tissues from infected plants, the virus particles, cylindrical cytoplasmic inclusions and dense bodies were obsserved in the cytoplasm. The antiserum to Ixia-B produced by immunizing a rabbit had a titer of 1/512. A close serological relationship was revealed between Ixia-B and two strains of BYMV from crocus and gladiolus, but no relationship to clover yellow vein virus was found in agar gel diffusion tests. However,Ixia-B could be distinguished from two strains of BYMV by the formation of spurs among them in agar gel and by the differences in the patterns of peptide mapping of coat proteins. From these findings, Ixia-B was identified as a strain of BYMV. |

| 抄録 | A survey of virus diseases occurring in Oriental Cymbidium collected from a commerical nursery and home garden in Japan was conducted in 1991-1994. Identification of the vurus was based on partcle morphology, symptomatology in indicator plants, ultrastructure of infected cells and serology. Four viruses, odontoglossum ringspot tabamovirus(ORSV), cymbidium mosaic potexvirus(CyMV), orchid fleck virus (ORV) and a previously underscribed spherical virus, were found in 27 out of 37 Cymbidium plants tested. ORSV was detected from 11 plants belinging to Cym. ensifolium, Cym. forrestii, Cym. goeringii, Cym. kanran, Cym. sinense and Cymbidium spp. showing chlorotic streaks and/or mild mosaic. CyMV was isolated from only one plant of Cymbidium sp. showing mosaic and necrotic spots on leaves. In negatibvely stained dip preparations from plants infected with ORSV and CyMV, rod shaped particles of ca. 310 nm and flexuous rod-shaped ca. 475 nm in length were observed, respectively. The viruses were reacted strongly with respective antiserum to each virus in immunosorbent electron microcopy and inderect ELISA. OFV was isolated from four plants of Cym. formosanum, Cym. kanran, Cym. sinense and Cymbidium sp. showing mosaic and necrotic flecks. The virus had non-enveloped, bullet-shaped particles about 40×120～150 nm in dip preparation. The undescribed spherical virus, ca. 28 nm diameter, was isolated from 11 plants of Cym. forrestii, Cym. goeringii and Cymbidium spp. showing stunting and chlorotic streaks on newly developed leaves. The virus was mechanically transmitted only to Cymbidium orchids. Previously, we designated it as cymbidium chlorotic mosaic sobemovirus(CyCMV)(Kondo et al,1994),as the virus was considered to be a new member of the genus Sobemovirsu. |

| 抄録 | Three species of Cyperaceous weeds, Cyperus iria (12 strains), C. microiria(12 strains) and C. amuricus (6 strains), were collected from different sites of Okayama, Tottori and Tokyo prefectures, and various morphological characters, biomass and seed production were observed on the plants which were cultivated at Kurashiki. The analysis of variance showed a significant difference among the strains in each character. However, the species overlapped with each other in most morphological characters. Prinipal component analysis on the 21 characters showed that 83% of the total variation could be explained by the first three components: the first component (37%) was regarded as factors concerning spikelet and seed production; the second component (28%) was regarded as factors concerned the size of vegetative parts; the third component (18%) was largely affected by seed weight and floret density. Scatter diagram on the first and third principal components showed that the 30 strains of three species divided into three groups, and strains in each group correspond to the three species without exception. Based on the second and third principal components, strains of C. microiria were further divided into three sub-groups according to size of vegetative parts. Using the cluster analysis, 30 strains of these species were divided into four large clusters; the first was composed of C. amuricus strains, the second was of three strains of C. microiria, the third included the remaining strains of C. microiria, and the last cluster was composed of C. iria strains. It may be concluded that C. microiria is composed of two or three ecotypes which are different in morphological and reproductive traits. |
