| 抄録 | Primary malignant diseases manifesting jaundice as a main symptom are the carcinomas of the bile duct and the pancreatic head, both of which have very poor survival rates after surgical resection or other treatments. Statistically, unresectable cases of the diseases are absolutely fatal within one or two years. Pathologically curative resection in early stage could only give the patients a chance to survive without diseases. Role of early detection of the diseases at the primary clinics of internal physicians is essentially important, because the patients noticing jaundice would firstly visit them under the impression of having the liver deseases. They should not waste much time in examining various liver function tests. Image diagnosis on the bile duct and the pancreatic duct by ultrasonography, followed by PTC or ERCP, detect the diseases. Tumor marker, CT, MRI and angiography are also performed supplementally to determine the tumor expansion or resectability. Surgery should be the histologically curative resection, including extended skeletonization of the retroperitoneum. Recent five years' survival rates of the bile duct carcinoma after resection in all over Japan are 64.5% in stage-Ⅰ, 50.4% in stage-Ⅱ, 30.7% in stage-Ⅲ and 9.4% in stage-Ⅳ. And those of the pancreatic carcinoma are 39.3% in T(1) (within 2cm in tumor diameter), 21.3% in T(2) (2-4cm), 13.1% in T(3) (4-6cm) and 12.1% in T(4) (over 6cm). From these data, curative resection in the early stages (stage-Ⅰ or -Ⅱ in bile duct carcinoma ant T(1) or T(2) in pancreatic carcinoma) is recommended, but even in the stage-Ⅲ the chance to live longer by extended resection is preserved. To achieve furhter improvement, author has devised the NEW surgical technigues, "block resection of the hepatoduodenal ligament" for carcinoma of the bile duct and "isolated pancreatectomy" for pancreatic carcinoma. Curative resectabilities are increasing by applying these techniques and hepatic recurrence rate in pancreatic carcinoma is decreasing by "isolated pancreatectomy", although the statistical results of improvement in five years' survival rates are not yet achieved because of shortage in cases' numbers and time duration. |

| 抄録 | 母親が病気の子どもに1か月以上付き添う場合の家に残されている同胞への影響について研究を行ってきた。今回、その同胞172ケースのうちで登校拒否があった6ケースについて子どもの特徴、家族構成、家族状況等を検討した。その結果、6ケースのうち3ケースが9歳の女児であった。同居家族は1ケースで、他は核家族であった。この同胞たちは、「笑顔がなくなる」、「寂しそうな表情をする」など何らかの精神的不安を表していた。登校拒否の始まった時期は全て入院後1か月未満の時であった。登校拒否が一時的でなく、退院後にも長びいたケースは父親と女児のみが家に残されていた。このような結果から核家族が多い現在小児看護を行う場合、残された同胞への配慮を早期から行いながら病児や母親の援助を行うことが重要である。 |

| 抄録 | Area mesh statistics is a kind of small area statistics. The area mesh data of Japan can be created in a lot of way and many of them can be downloaded, for example, from the land's value information service which is provided by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of Japan. We developed database of these area mesh data. By using mesh navigator software (Makita Naoki, 1997), which needs to run on ProAtlas2000 and Microsoft Access2000, we displayed the mesh data on the map. What visualized on the map is very convenient. For extending the advantages of area mesh data to spatial geographical statistics, we used PostgreSQL to develop a new database of mesh data. We also develop some programs in Delphi for the analysis of area mesh data, such as Histogram, Echelon analysis, and etc. |

| 抄録 | The thrips Ponticulothrips diospyrosi Haga et Okajima is an univoltine species which aestivates and overwinters in the adult form in the fields. The oviposition factors of the thrips were investigated on persimmon seedling leaves. The adult female could make a gall and oviposit inside it in vitro. Female could make a gall and oviposit at 20℃, but only make a gall at 15℃. Although it could neither make a gall nor oviposit at 25℃, it oviposited at than temperature when placed on a gall. Female neither made a gall nor oviposited on an extended young leat. However, it could oviposit on the young leaf rolled artificially in a line tube (3.2 mm diam.), but not on the old one. These findings show that univoltine of the thrips may be regulated by the phenology of the host plant and females can oviposit whenever they are placed on the seedlings at the optimum oviposition temperature. |

| 抄録 | The complete nucleotide sequince of the genomic RNA of odontoglossum ringspot virus Cy-1 strain(ORSV Cy-1) was determined using cloned cDNA. This sequence is 6611 nucleotides long containing four open reading frames, which correspond to 126 K,183 K,31 K and 18 K proteins. The 5' non-coding region of ORSV Cy-1 is 62 nucleotides. The ORFs encoded a 126 K polypeptide and a 183 K read-through product in which helicase-sequence and polymerase-sequence motifs are found. The5' non-coding region,which extends from bases 1 to 62 has 2G residues and the ribosome binding site (AUU). The3' non-coding region of ORSV Cy-1 composes 414 nucleotides in length. The genomic organization of ORSV Cy-1 is nearly identical to that of ORSV Korean strain(ORSV-K). However, the ORF encoding 183 K protein overlapes the ORF encoding 31 K protein in ORSV Cy-1, but not in ORSV-K. The 183 K read-through product of ORSV Cy-1 is 16 amino acids longer than that of ORSV-K. The homology of the nucleotide sequences of ORSV Cy-1 and ORSV-K is 96%. |

| 抄録 | Chaos is one of the most interesting topics in resent economic dynamics. Pohjola(1981) cnstructed a simple discrete-time model htat is capable of generating chaotic growth paths by modifying Goodwin's(1967) growth cycle model. His modification is the introduction of a bargaining uquation. Takamasu(1997) indicated by computer simulations that chaotic movements are observed if Skott's output expansion function(See Skott(1989)) replaced the assumtion of fixed capital-output raio. In this paper we demonstrate the emerence of chaos by allowing for international trade to the Goodwin model. Although it involves some 'bold' assumptions, it is meaningful to construct a framwork of Goodwin model with international trade, because it seemed no work has discussed this problem. The plan of this paper is as follows. We set up our model in section 2, then long-run equilibria of the model are considered in section 3. Dynamic properties of the model are analyzed in sections 4 and 5. The final section summarizes the results of the extension. |

| 抄録 | In a work concerning stability analysis, Burmeister, Dobell, and Kuga(1968) showed the properties of Solow type growth model with many capital goods. They suggested that the one-sector Solow model is stable not because it has only one capital good, but because it has particularly simple saving function. In the analysis, they proved the global stability of the multi-sector Solow model. The model is, however, unrealistic due to their neoclassical flamework in which full employment is permanetly kept. In this note, we allow for the existence of unemployment in their model. We substitute linear functions for Cobb-Douglas production functions. Also we introduce some elements of Goodwin's model (Goodwin(1965)), thus generalizing Sato's model in Sato(1985). The purpose of this paper is to analyze of the stability of a thus extended Goodwin model. We consider the relationship between the number of capital goods and the stability of the system. This paper is organized as follows. In section 2, we propose an extended Goodwin model and show the existence of a positive equilibrium. In section 3 concerning a neighbourhood of the equilibirium the property of three dimensional case is compared with that of two dimensional case. Section 4 is devoted to a couple of analyses by computer simulations. Some comments are given in the final section. |
