数学的モデリングを用いた授業の提案

抄録	日本の中学生・高校生は数学の力が国際的に高い水準にあるにもかかわらず現実世界との関連を充分理解しておらず、入学試験以外の面に数学を学ぶ意義や社会における数学との有用性をあまり感じていない生徒が多いといわれる(北澤・浜野,2000)。さらに、近年では、大学入試が「大学入試センター試験」から「大学入学共通テスト」に名前を変え、日常生活と結び付けた問題で知識を活用する能力や思考力を問うものが増えてきている。この様な近年の動向の中で、筆者は、数学的モデリングを教材として授業に取り入れることで、数学を用いた課題解決によって、生徒に数学を活用することの有用性や課題解決のぷろせすを感じさせる授業を提案する。今回提案する授業の教材は、「コンビニにおける在庫の仕入れ方」である。様々な状況のモデルに対して、いくつかの仕入れ方を検討していく。その上で、授業に適したモデルについても考察していく。
