| 抄録 | Our prior scale for student nurses to rate image of the elderly is inadequate both in number of items used and in exaustiveness of possible images they have. This study attempts to construct a new rating scale by decreasing the number of the previous items and by incorporrating pertinent novel items. A new scale reported here consisits of 20 items, with 15 items being determined through a factor analysisi of the previous 38 items and 5 items being selected after a survey of relevant studies. |

| 抄録 | A questionnaire survey was done by 76 third year-students of the nursing course before and after practicing at the two nursing homes in 1989. The same questions about their views and images of the aged person were given twice and compared. Question to image consists of 38 paired items respectively opposed to be rated on a seven-point scale. The results showed that their views and images had changed from idealistic to realistic as a result of their practices. These were some differences found in these changes by the home and the period of practice. |

| 抄録 | The structure on the evaluation of street landscape by men is analyzed through semantic differential technique. Some characteristic streets in Okayama and Kurashiki cities are selected for the analysis and they are evaluated by many subjects using their photographs. The results are outlined on their profile curves. Then, they are analyzed through factor analysis and some communal factors are induced. It is explained what these communal factors mean. Finally, it is considered how to make beautiful and comfortable street landscape. |

| 抄録 | 本研究は、感性情報処理の研究としてVDTでのCG風景画印象評価で画像特徴量とその評価形容詞との対応関係を統計的に分析し認知構造を解析した。人間の経験的知識の違いにより、同じ刺激が違う認知効果を生む場合があるため、感性情報処理分野では個人の学習・認知経験により、同じ刺激が違う心理効果をうむ現象と画像特徴量との関係を分析している。その関係をモデル化することにより、画像特徴量をもとに、CGの評価を一般化することが可能になる。本研究では、街路の景観画像における植栽や面積（視野角）と「嗜好性」（好き、快いなどの形容詞）に相関関係があることを前提に分析・モデル化を行った。CGで作成した街路の景観画像をVDTで被験者に見せる心理実験の結果、いくつかの因子を抽出した。その分析から例えば、「広々感」という心理的効果には、空と道路の部分画像のみに関連しており、建物は従属的な要素となるという知見を得た。つまり、景象画像イメージは、必ずしも全体の画像は必要ないといえる。 |

| 抄録 | 音楽が心身に及ぼす影響を探るために、情動反応と生理学的測定の2つの指標を用いて実験を行った。情動反応はチェックリストを中心とした質問紙を使い、生理学的測定は精神性発汗を用いた。実験曲として文部省歌である「ふるさと」の歌詞つきと歌詞なし、それに類似した自作メロディー、「こいのぼり」の4曲を取り上げ、反応の比較を行った。実験の結果、曲による反応の相違が現れ、音楽は心身に影響を及ぼしていることが確認できた。特に「ふるさと歌詞つき」に関しては質問紙では「なつかしい」と過去を想起する人が多く、発汗量の変化も他の3曲に比べ有意に差があった。また、個人の特性（性差、嗜好度、音楽経験など）は音楽聴取に対して心身ともに大きな影響を及ぼしていることが明らかになった。 |

| 抄録 | 本研究は、VDT(Visual Display Terminals)における人間の学習メディア提示形態に関する基礎的研究としてディスプレー上に描かれた図形を立体として認識する立体感効果に関して、空間構成と色彩調和効果をパラメータとして視認実験を被験者に行わせた。そして、人間の距離感認知に対して立体面と色彩提示方法の違いが学習者の距離認知心理にどの様な影響を及ぼすかを比較分析した。簡単な立体感を構成する図形の壁面色を基準とした対人実験の結果から、距離感、立体感の認識には個人差が大きいこと、それらはいくつかにグルーピングされることなどを統計分析し、実験空間における距離感に関する実験式を導出した。 |

| 抄録 | Throughout its long history, the English Language has produced a wide variety of terms applied to men and/or woman, most of which are found in address forms in spoken language. Literary authors make an effective use of different terms as variation, whether abusive or endearing, to have their works reflect the colloquial language of their days. Eighteenth-century British literary works can be valuable materials for us to analyse linguistic features. The present artice aims at examining the terms of abuse in Richardson Pamela (1740) from a historical perspective. A comparative discussionis made, where necessary, on two contemporary literary works from the same perspective, in the hope of sketching out the semantic history of each term and exploring one phase of colloquialism in those days. |
