猪目洞窟は島根県出雲市に所在する凝灰岩の断崖に生じた海蝕洞である。1948年10月、漁港改修工事で洞口付近に堆積した土砂が撤去された際に、弥生～古墳時代の土器や木器、複数個体の人骨が発見された。

The Inome Cave Site is a sea-eroded cavern situated within a tuffaceous cliff in Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture. In October 1948, during the reconstruction of a fishing harbor, the removal of sediment accumulated at the cave's entrance led to the discovery of multiple human skeletal remains alongside earthenware and wooden artifacts dating from the Yayoi to the Kofun periods.
