| Abstract | A relatively high precision and high resolution spatial distribution of the PM2.5 in the south part of the Okayama prefecture, Japan was estimated by the Universal Kriging method and the FOSS4G GIS softwares. The observation data of the PM2.5 were obtained from the Environmental data service site of the Okayama prefecture. The geospatial open data about the research field that used in the research were served by the government research institutes. The spatial analysis were executed by the R (R core team, 2014) and its spatial libraries, maptools (Bivand and Lewin-Koh, 2014), rgdal (Bivand, Keitt and Rowlingson, 2014) and gstat (Pebesma, 2014). The geospatial representation and qualitative analysis of the estimated distribution were performed by the QGIS (QGIS Development Team, 2014) and the Google earth (Google, 2014). The time variant of the PM2.5 concentration by the each observatories in the area were show some cross correlation factor to the SPM10 concentration data. The estimated PM2.5 distribution seems to show that the relatively tight relation to the geospatial factors in the research area. The estimation of a time variant change of the PM2.5 distribution will be required of the further research.. |

| Abstract | 「日本事情」は1992 年度後期に国費留学生のための日本語研修コース（大学院予備教育 課程）科目の一つとして開設され、1999 年度末までは日本語研修生にのみ受講資格が認めら れていた。2000 年度には日研生及び日韓予備教育学生に、2005 年度には交換留学生にも受 講資格が認められた。その後、学内外の留学生受入れ状況の変化に伴い、日本語研修コース 科目であった「日本事情」は2011 年度にEPOK 科目兼一般教育科目に位置づけが変化し、 交換留学生の受講者比率が急速に高まった。同年度以降でみると、受講者全体の約4 分の3 を占めるまでになった。本稿では、1999 年度後期から2014 年度前期までの「日本事情」を 振り返り、授業実施形態の歴史的変遷に加えて、受講者574 人の在籍身分及び出身国・地域 について分析し、学習項目の変遷や成績評価の問題などに関して検証を試みる。 |

| Abstract | 19 世紀末に設立されたハワイのビショップ博物館において、20 世紀の終盤に発生した 先住民ハワイアンと博物館の間の文化政治的闘争は、2009 年に達成されるビショップ博 物館の展示大改変に象徴される脱植民地主義への一つのプロセスと位置づけられる。特 に「アメリカ先住民墓地保護再葬法」（Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act、通称“NAGPRA”）の適用による遺物の返還運動をめぐってビショップ博物館とハワ イ先住民の間で展開された議論は、文化の所有、モノの意味、収蔵物の解釈を巻き込み ながら博物館という植民地主義の遺産を脱構築していく過程として観察される。 |

| Abstract | 近年、各教育機関において学力以外の能力に多大な関心を集めてきている。しかし、その能 力概念は、全人的・人格的・非認知的な特性ゆえに能力育成のための方法や評価の確立に困難 さを否めない。そればかりか、我が国の諸機関や諸外国から様々な能力概念が提起され続ける ことで、ますます多様さと曖昧さに陥ってしまった。 そこで、本稿では〈新しい能力〉を鍵として、ここに包括される様々な能力を概観し、これ ほどまでに関心が集まる背景について人的・社会的な観点から考察する。 さらに、〈新しい能力〉と大学のキャリア教育との関係性を紐解き、〈新しい能力〉を使い こなすためのキャリア教育の在り方をケース報告する。また、大学生のキャリア教育だけでな く、小学生の放課後にも焦点を当てて、学童期の発達段階と生活世界にふさわしい〈新しい能 力〉の育成の在り方を提起する。 |

| Abstract | 岡山大学では、「学生参画型教育改善」の一環として、学生発案型授業の創作に取り組んで いる。学生・教職員教育改善専門委員会が2013 年度に創作した学生発案型授業の創作経緯 ならびにその受講学生の感想等を基に、当該授業の成果と課題について、また学生発案型授 業としての成果と課題について考察した。当該授業そのものとしては、学習目標としていた 料理技術には概ね学生の達成実感が確認できたものの、他者とのコミュニケーション能力に ついては課題が見受けられた。学生発案型授業としてみた場合、創作に関わる学生に授業観 の変容を促す成果があるが、学生の関与が限定的となってしまう点、学生と担当教員との間 に衝突が生じる場合があるなどの課題も見受けられる。 |

| Abstract | 浄土真宗各派の日常的な勤行において用いられる「正信偈」の旋律を収集・採譜し、web 上にデータ ベース化した。採譜にあたっては、主に西洋音楽で広く用いられ、最も一般的な記譜法である五線譜を 用い、初学者が容易に理解できるような記譜を工夫するとともに、口伝によって伝承されてきた旋律を、 可能な限り忠実に再現できるように配慮した。その結果、これまでほとんど知られてこなかった各派「正信 偈」の旋律を、広く一般に共有することが可能となり、将来的には、「正信偈」に関心をもつ学習者がe- ラーニングの教材として利用できるようになった。 |

| Abstract | Four first-year university Listening classes, consisting of 158 students, were given a unit in which they were asked to listen to one episode per week of a popular English episodic television program for homework and to write reaction papers. The purpose was to evaluate whether the unit seemed to improve their listening and their English competence, and to see if the students were interested enough by the shows that they would continue watching the programs on their own afterwards. Students were given questionnaires after the end of the unit, and they felt that the unit had improved their competence. 76% indicated that they intended to continue watching their show, revealing genuine interest. |

| Abstract | Research suggests that reading strategy usage is influential on L2 reading proficiency. Considering this, the LEC English Department decided to examine students’ reading strategies as a part of its much larger curricular review. The results support existing research showing that more-proficient readers use somewhat more varied strategy usage. Posttest results reveal that a course on reading skills led to some minimal improvements in top-down reading strategies. Implications are discussed. |

The aim of this working paper is to take the first step in building an accessible foundation of knowledge from which classroom teachers can then pursue their own interest or concern in the method that appeals to them the most. |

| Abstract | This article reports on the first year activities and findings of the Learning Commons Study Group (ラーニングコモンズ活用分科会), which was formed to oversee the Okayama University Library renovation. Below is a description of our visits to other libraries, class, workshops and presentation observations. Pedagogically analysis was done through the lens of active learning, contentbased instruction in language learning (CBI), and other related theories and approaches. Concluding thoughts on utilizing Okayama University’s new learning commons and promoting critical thinking on campus is provided. |

| Abstract | 本稿は、岡山大学生対象の英語クラスと留学生対象の日本語クラスからの有志の学生との「合同授 業」で行った｢ブレンド型学習｣（e-learning と対面式学習の組み合わせ）の実践報告である。留学 生と日本人学生が協働で行ったe-learning プロジェクト自体の言語学習目標は、テクノロジーを活 用したプレゼンテーションによる英語発表力の向上であったが、「合同授業」の研究目的は、英語 学習者と日本語学習者がe-learning プロジェクトを協働することにより、学生同士の交流や学習モ チベーションなどにどのような影響が現れるかを調査することであった。学期末に行ったアンケー ト調査によるとどちらのクラスにも肯定的な効果が見られた。 |

| Abstract | 岡山大学の全学日本語コースでは毎年カリキュラムの見直しを行ってきたが，受講生の 多様なニーズに対応するために大規模なカリキュラムの改編を行い，2013 年度前期から新 カリキュラムで授業を展開することとなった。その効果を把握するため，2013 年度前期末 および後期末にアンケート調査を実施し，前期74 名，後期78 名の回答を得た。分析の結果， 2013 年度から新たに導入したトピック／技能別クラスの開講に肯定的な者が８割以上，日 本語コース全体に満足している者が約８割おり，カリキュラム改編後の全学日本語コース に対する受講生の満足度が高いことが明らかになった。本稿では日本語コース全体に対す る評価，総合クラスおよびトピック／技能別クラスに対する評価，新規開講科目に関する 希望について報告する。 |

| Abstract | 本稿は19 世紀ドイツリアリズム期を代表する作家のひとりであるテオドール・シュトル ム(1817-1888)の作品『今と昔(Von heut und ehedem)』(1873)において、シュトルム自身と考 えられる＜私＞とシュトルムの母方の＜祖母＞の視点から、かつての曾祖父の家や祖父の家 とそこに集まる人々の様子、そしてさらには故郷の町フーズムがどのように描き出されてい るかについて考察することを目的とする。自らの記憶のもはや届かない＜祖母の過去＞にま で話を繰り広げる＜私＞からは、失われてしまったものへ哀惜の念を抱き、それを物語の中 で再びよみがえらせようとするシュトルムの姿が見て取れるのである。 |
