| Abstract | This article describes the history of civic engagement at Nishigawa Canal Park in Okayama city, Japan. Nishigawa Canal Park was constructed in downtown Okayama from 1974 to 1982, and its total length is 2.4 km. Since 2008, citizens have held events in the park totaling over 70 days per year, with the support of the city’s Nishigawa Performers Project. By analyzing their machizukuri—community development through collaborative actions—we demonstrate the importance of public space in urban development from two points of view: participatory democracy and an eco-livable city. Okayama has rich experiences that show its citizens value a sustainable society. It also faces challenges in urban development carried out through collaboration between public policy makers, political leaders, and citizens. |

| Abstract | 先稿（本誌第161 号・162 号・164 号，2016-17 年）において，ウィリアム・テンプルに宛てたドロシー・オズボーンの恋文を取り上げ，出会いから結婚に至るまでの経緯を辿りつつ，手紙のなかにドロシーの人柄や考え方を探ってきた。小論は，先稿の補説として，手紙に含まれる文学史的意義に着目し，それが書簡文学の伝統のなかで18 世紀の書簡体小説を予示するかのように書かれていたことを明らかにした。 |

| Abstract | 本論文は，教員免許状の取得に必要な「教職の意義等に関する科目（以下，本論文では「教職論」とする。）」において「アクティブ・ラーニング」がどのような形態で，どのような内容で取り組まれているのかを明らかにすることを目的としている。研究対象を44 の国立教員養成系大学・学部で開設されている教職論とし，WEBに公開されているシラバスを分析することとした。その結果，「アクティブ・ラーニング」を導入している大学は33 校（75.0％）であった。主な実施形態としては「グループワーク」「フィールドワーク・省察」「プレゼンテーション・発表」「討論・ディベート」であった。主な内容としては「附属学校園等訪問とその省察」「学校教員の講演会・座談会」「自身の教育体験の省察・交流」「目指す教師像の探究」「現代の教育課題の検討」「模擬授業・場面指導」等であった。 |

| Abstract | 本研究では，地方都市A市内公立中学校保健体育科教員を対象として，ダンスのジェンダー・イメージ（男らしさ／女らしさ），ダンスに対する態度（抵抗感と羞恥心［恥ずかしさ］）に関する質問紙調査を行い，実状を把握することを試みた。その結果，①ジェンダー・バイアスについては未だ根強く残っており，種目（領域）別にみると「創作ダンス」が女性らしいと思われる傾向にあることが明らかとなった。また，②抵抗感や羞恥心については，抵抗感や羞恥心ともに中立化の傾向を示したものの，未だ抵抗感や羞恥心を抱く教員が多いことが明らかとなった。 |

| Abstract | 合唱活動を行っている歌い手や指導者は，発声をどのように捉えているのであろうか。アマチュア合唱団員，プロの合唱団員，教員養成学部の合唱受講生，合唱指揮者を対象にアンケート調査を行い，自由記述の記述内容から発声の課題を検討した。その結果，ソロの発声技術と合唱の発声技術の両方を使用することに歌唱演奏者が苦労しながら取り組んでいることが明らかとなった。ソロ歌唱と合唱歌唱の理想的な発声を得るためには，両者とも声楽発声の基礎を身につけた上で，ソロと合唱それぞれに特有な歌唱技術のコントロールができることが必要である。また，ソリストは，「合わせる」経験を積んでいく中で，合唱歌唱の技術を磨いていくことが必要であり，合唱歌手は，「ソリストの歌唱技術」を獲得することで，個々の歌唱技術を磨いていくことが必要である。 |

| Abstract | これまで，一コマ90 分（２単位）であった授業時間が一コマ60 分（１単位）となったことを契機に，この新しいカリキュラムを積極的に活かした授業改善が求められている。清田・大橋は，講座「図画工作科授業研究」と「図画工作科内容研究」を，共同で担当し，その内容と方法を共有しながら授業改善に取り組んできた。その要点は，一方通行の「伝達-受容型」の授業を脱し，学生の主体的で能動的な学習を通して，実践的な学習指導力を形成することにある。とりわけ，図画工作科では，教科書題材の目標や内容を理解し，児童の実態に合わせたものに修正あるいは改変する必要がある。それを，いかに指導するかを学ぶことが教師を目指す学生にとって重要である。本稿では，授業実践を記録した動画を視聴し，検討することを通して，教科書題材からどのように授業づくりが行われていくのか，学生自身が気づくための方法について考察を行った。 |

| Abstract | 本研究は，生活科の授業改善とその指導力育成について，次の二点から論じていこうとするものである。第一は，近年の学校教育改革，特に平成29 年の小中学校の学習指導要領改訂を受けて，小学校の生活科の目標，内容，方法がどのように変化したか，それによって生活科の授業づくりがどうなっていくかを，提示された学習指導要領解説を読み解きながら明らかにしていくことである。そして，第二には，岡山大学大学院教育学研究科が近年取り組んできた教科内容構成研究の成果をふまえて，生活科を指導する教員の力量をどのように育成していけばよいかについて，大学の教員養成カリキュラムにおいてどのような授業を設定するかという点から論じていく。近年の教育改革は，学校の教育課程の改革が注目されるだけではなく，指導する教員の養成をどのように改善していくかということが同時に進められるのが特徴である。授業改善とそれを指導する教員の力量形成を関連付けながら論じていくことと，その二つを教科内容構成研究という，近年，岡山大学が先進的に取り組んできた教員養成カリキュラム改革の成果をふまえてつなげていくことが，本研究の特質である。両者を連続的に検討することで，近年求められている教員のキャリア形成における養成と研修の一体化の具体的な進め方にかかわる方針を提案することができるであろう。 |

| Abstract | 古事記における主語の表示／省略の傾向を整理すると，①▽→φ→φ…，②φ→▽→φ…，③φ→φ→φ…，④▽→▽→▽…，という４つの型に整理できる（▽＝表示，φ＝省略）。①は，最初の文で主語を表示し，次の文以降は主語を省略するタイプである。オーソドックスな主語連続で，特別な表現効果は発揮しない。それに対して，②以下は特異な主語表示である。まず②は，最初の文では主語を省略し，次の文で主語を表示する。人物は異常な登場をする。言わば，アンチヒーロー登場型である。③は①の後続部分などに現れる。物語の展開がスピーディーになったり，読み手が登場人物に同化したりする，緊密型である。④は全表示型である。複数の登場人物が紛れないようにするため必要であるときと，ある種の表現効果を発揮するときがある。以上のうち，②は現代語には見られない。 |

| Abstract | 本研究は，アメリカ合衆国ミズーリ州の小学校における自閉スペクトラム症（以下，ASD）児に対する社会的コミュニケーション指導実践の現地調査を行った。現地の教育実践から，VB-MAPP，及びピアサポートをどのように活用しながら社会的コミュニケーション指導を展開しているのかを調査し，それらを効果的に活用する上でどのような点を考慮すべきかを導き出すことを目的とした。結果，VB-MAPPの活用では，児童の実態把握と指導目標の決定，既学習挿入手続きとプロンプト方略を活用した個別指導の展開，個別指導で学習した知識・技能を他の環境下（例：遊び場面）で指導する又は使用させる工夫，の３点が導出された。ピアサポートの活用では，ASD児の興味関心を活かした関わり，ピアの受容的態度や共同的働きかけ，ピアとASD児をつなぐ教員のファシリテーション，の３点が見出された。最後に，VB-MAPPは学習目標の共有化と学習内容の組織化を促す１つの方法であり，学びの連続性を志向するためのツールとして，ピアサポートはインクルージョンを実現する１つの方法であり，障害のある子も，障害のない子も共に学ぶための方法として，今後の展開が期待されることを考察した。 |

| Abstract | 本稿では，三つの側面を持つ本格的なカリキュラム・マネジメントを各幼稚園現場で成立させることを目指し，まず，現場に必要とされる思考の仕方について考察し，その上で，必要になると考えられる研究者の協働を構想する。すなわち，本格的なカリキュラム・マネジメントを成立させるためには，各幼稚園において，国の教育課程基準の実現と園の特色のあるカリキュラム創りを両立させようとする思考の仕方と，自園の保育全体を保育方法の一つの理論体系ととらえて実践し発展させるという思考の仕方が必要になると考えられる。したがって，各幼稚園現場が，この二つの思考の仕方を効率的に習得し，本格的なカリキュラム・マネジメントを成立させるための研究者の協働手順全体を先行研究成果を活用しながら構想する。 |

| Abstract | “Environmentˮ has special meanings in early childhood education and care in Japan. The present study, we identified characteristic that is a problem faced by students in understanding the concept of the environment in a class on child care in the context of the “environmentˮ in a training school for child care providers. Specifically, this study used a sentence completion test to detect the transformation in the concept of environment in the students. These data were quantitatively analyzed using text mining. In addition, we examined the transformation in the environmental concept qualitatively. As a result, the tendency to use the captured environment as a method was seen, and some characteristics became clear. Based on these findings, we considered it necessary for class improvement to be expedited. |

| Abstract | In this study, we clarified how a childminder choice student understood the use of the information appliance for preschool education. Specifically, we performed a cluster analysis based on student responses that we obtained by Silent Dialogue, and analyzed the answers both quantitatively and qualitatively. Based on the results, we considered methods for increasing effectiveness of future practice. In addition, for training subjects such as“preschool education methods,” we piloted some concrete practices to consider the best approaches for teaching. Finally, the results of this study are discussed and future problems are described. |

| Abstract | 本研究では，小学６年生97 名（男子44 名，女子53 名）を対象に，中学校生活に対する期待と不安について，質問紙による調査と小学校訪問の効果の検討を行った。調査に参加した児童は同一の中学校区にある３つの小学校に在籍する子どもたちで，３つの小学校のうち，１校は中学校に隣接しており，他の２校は中学校から離れた場所にある小規模校であった。分析の観点としては，中学校生活に対する期待と不安に関して，⑴規模や環境の異なる小学校間の差と性差の検討，⑵期待と不安のタイプ分類，⑶中学１年生による小学校訪問の効果の検討をとりあげた。分析の結果，性差およびタイプ分類における男女比率の違いなどが示された。規模や環境の異なる小学校間の差，および小学校訪問の効果については，方法を改善してさらなる検討を重ねていくことが必要であると考えられた。 |
