| Abstract | 国立大学法人岡山大学大学院教育学研究科《国吉康雄記念・美術教育研究と地域創生講座》では，美術鑑賞の機会に，対話と探究を用い，アート作品の制作背景を社会課題の解決と関 連づけて考察する手法を開発し，実践している。現在，COVID⊖19の感染拡大を防ぐことを目的としたリモートでの講義プログラムにおいても，この鑑賞手法を用いるため，「反転学習用動画教材」として，岡山県に関係する洋画家ふたりに関する動画を制作した。ここでは，制作のために執筆したシナリオを，反転学習用の動画制作のための作例として公開する。 |

| Abstract | 本研究では，音楽科授業において，達人教師たちが子どもたちに効果的に説明しているさまざまな指導場面を切り出し，「即座に反応する応答力」と「音楽に関連する専門的知識」の２つの視点に則って，ワザの個別事例を分析した。その結果，（１）「即座に反応する応答力」は，指導の中で常に行われる学習者理解によって，教育内容を調整しどのような教授行為を行うかという判断を伴うもので，教師個人内の音楽に関する概念的知識と身体知に基づき間断なく行われる。また，（２）「音楽に関連する専門的知識」は，「音楽する」行為がもたらす身体知を教師と学習者が往還させながら教授・学習されるという特徴がある。したがって「達人教師達が効果的に説明する」というのは，教師と学習者の身体知を往還させながら，教授ストラテジーを巧みに選択し「即座に反応する応答力」を発揮していく創造性豊かな教授的行為である，と考えられた。 |

| Abstract | 本稿では，合唱団員に対して実施したアンケート調査の分析によって明らかとなった，合唱演奏会の前後における団員の意識の変容についての全体的な傾向を踏まえて（虫明, 2020），個々の団員の意識変化について，演奏会前の意識の異なる３名を抽出して，SCATを用いて分析を行った。その結果，演奏会前に，異なる方向へ向けられていた３名の団員の意識は，演奏会中の超越的な体験によって，演奏会終了後には，団員や指揮者との信頼関係へ向けられていることが挙げられた。また，個々の団員の練習参加頻度は，演奏会前の「指導者との関わりや指導内容」や演奏会後の「個々の思い」の変容に影響することも明らかになった。これらから，合唱の日々の美的追究やコンサート本番における音楽による生きたコミュニケーションによって成立する感動体験は，音楽的評価を超えて，人と人とを繋ぎ合わせる力を持っているということが考えられた。 |

| Abstract | The optimal timing of antiretroviral therapy (ART) initiation in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-infected patients with cryptococcal meningitis (HIV/CM) is controversial. We designed a clinical trial to inves-tigate the optimal timing for ART initiation in HIV/CM patients. This will be a multicenter, prospective, and randomized clinical trial. Each enrolled patient will be randomized into either the early ART arm or the deferred ART arm. We will compare the mortality and incident rates of immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome between the two arms. We hope to elucidate the optimal timing for ART initiation in HIV/CM patients. |

| Abstract | The purposes of this retrospective study were to analyze local control of squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix treated with computed tomography (CT)-based image-guided brachytherapy (IGBT), as well as the factors affecting local control. A total of 39 patients were analyzed. The prescribed dose to the pelvis was 45-50 Gy with or without central shielding (CS). IGBT was delivered in 1-5 fractions. The total dose for high-risk clinical target volume (HR-CTV) was calculated as the biologically equivalent dose in 2-Gy fractions. The median follow-up period was 29.3 months. The 2-year overall survival and local control rates were 97% and 91%, respectively. In univariate analysis, the dose covering 90% of the HR-CTV (D90) and tumor size were found to be significant factors for local control. The cutoff values of tumor size and D90 for local control were 4.3 cm (area under the curve [AUC] 0.75) and 67.7 Gy (AUC 0.84) in the CS group and 5.3 cm (AUC 0.75) and 73.7 Gy (AUC 0.78) in the group without CS, respectively. However, though the local control of CT-based IGBT was favorable, the results suggested that the dose required for tumor control may differ depending on the presence of CS. |

| Abstract | Heart diseases are one of the major causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Despite major advances in drug and interventional therapies, surgical procedures, and organ transplantation, further research into new therapeutic options is still necessary. Stem cell therapy has emerged as one option for the treatment of a variety of heart diseases. Although a large number of clinical trials have shown stem cell therapy to be a promising therapeutic approach, the results obtained from these clinical studies are inconsistent, and stem cell-based improvements of heart performance and cardiac remodeling were found to be quite limited. Since the precise mechanisms underlying the therapeutic actions of stem cells are still under debate, researchers have developed a variety of strategies to improve and boost the potency of stem cells in repair. In this review, we summarize both the current therapeutic strategies using stem cells and future directions for enhancing stem cell potency. |

| Abstract | A 76-year-old Japanese man was transferred to our hospital to undergo rehabilitation after traffic accident-related injuries. Seven days post-admission, he presented with abdominal pain and an 8-cm lump in the right inguinal region. He was diagnosed with an incarcerated inguinal hernia and underwent elective surgery the day after manual reduction. He had a normal vermiform appendix which was observed to have adhered to the right indirect hernia sac. An appendectomy and hernia repair using lightweight mesh were performed. We discuss the surgical management of this rare incarcerated Amyand’s hernia and the relevant literature. |

| Abstract | 岡山大学大学院教育学研究科「国吉康雄記念・美術教育研究と地域創生講座」（以下，本講座）では，1889 年に岡山県岡山市に誕生した洋画家，国吉康雄（1889-1953）とその作品に関する調査を行なってきた。この成果の，現状における報告展覧会として，国吉康雄作品と，国吉作品をコレクション活動の原点とする「ベネッセアートサイト直島」の現代アート作品などで構成する展覧会，「Mr.Ace X-O. Modern SETOUCHI ⇄ Y.Kuniyoshi ⇄ NEWYORK」（以下，本展）を企画し，2019 年４月から５月にかけて岡山市が運営する岡山シティミュージアムで実施した。 本展に関わる取材および調査の過程で，今後の国吉康雄研究において重大な資料となる，岡山市史編集委員会 編『岡山市史 美術映画編』（岡山市，1962 年）における国吉康雄の少年時代に関する記述に注目し，その検証を行った。同書には，幼少期の国吉康雄が，四条派の日本画家で美術教師の井上芦仙の指導を受け，また，弟子として迎えたいとの申し入れを受けていたという記述がある。これは，国吉康雄の画才はアメリカで見出されたという，従来の国吉康雄論における前提を覆すものである。このため，国吉が受けた明治期の美術教育と共に，当時の美術教育を取り巻く環境と，今後の国吉康雄研究に与える影響について考察した。 |

| Abstract | Radical trachelectomy (RT) is a fertility-sparing surgery for cervical cancer. Postoperative pregnancies have a high risk of abortion and prematurity. To prevent this, a procedure involving transabdominal cerclage (TAC) was devised for shortened cervical canals post-RT. Here we describe the successful management of a pregnancy after abdominal RT (ART). The 34-year-old patient was gravida 1, para 0. When she was 27, she underwent ART for stage Ib1 cervical cancer, and she became pregnant 7 years later. Because her cervical canal was 16.7 mm during early pregnancy, we performed TAC at 12 weeks of pregnancy. Post-surgery, we administered an infusion of ritodrine hydrochloride for tocolysis. A selective caesarean section was performed at 36 weeks, with the delivery of a healthy infant. |

| Abstract | 我が国の音楽文化を理解するために，どのような授業が望ましいであろうか。山本は，2004 年から能笛演奏家の根岸啓子（博士・東京藝術大学，岡山大学非常勤講師）と教材開発の共同研究を行ってきた。根岸は，2008 年から2010 年まで，岡山大学短期留学プログラムEPOKの受講生を対象に能の授業をおこなった。山本と根岸は2006 年に国際交流基金の助成を受け，アメリカのウイスコンシン大学やイリノイ大学，在シカゴ日本総領事館広報文化センターなどで，アメリカ人を対象に能のワークショップをおこなった。その後，学習院女子中・高等科元国語科教員及び学習院大学教職課程元兼任講師の根岸弘が，教材研究に加わった。教材の元としたのは，2004 年刊『読みがたり 岡山のむかし話』（岡山県小学校国語教育研究会編／日本標準）である。2016 年から2018 年にわたり根岸啓子が岡山大学教養教育「能楽入門」で実際に使用した，岡山の民話に基づいた能・狂言の創作劇の台本の一部を，本稿の末尾に掲載しておいた。なお，演目名には識別しやすくするために〈 〉，創作能・創作狂言には《 》を付したことを記す。この試みは，学校教育における能楽の新たな授業方法を提言するものと考えている。 |

| Abstract | 2018 年７月14 日（土）・15 日（日）の両日，東京と横浜で，日本初の「日本人とトルコ人のコラボレーション」によるオスマン・トルコの軍楽隊メフテルの演奏が行われた。駐日トルコ共和国大使のハサン・ムラット・メルジャン大使とインジ夫人を先頭に，メフテルとトルコの民族衣装を着たダンサーから成る70 名のパレートが１回と，ステージでのメフテルの演奏が２回あった。このメフテル・プロジェクトに日本側として，岡山大学教育学部音楽教育講座の学生有志と教員の合計12 名が参加した。トルコ側は，ユヌス・エムレ・インスティトゥート東京（フセイン・トゥナ Hüseyin TUNA東京所長）であった。本稿は，①日本とトルコの相互理解教育の実践例として，②学校教育における軍楽隊メフテルの学習方法の発展に向けて，③日本とトルコのコラボレーションの更なる拡大の足掛かりとして，その経緯を記し，分析をおこなったものである。なお，執筆を分担したので（ ）内に担当者名を記した。 |

| Abstract | 岡山大学大学院教育学研究科国吉康雄記念・美術教育研究と地域創生講座では、1889 年、岡山市に誕生し、米国で活躍した洋画家で社会活動家でもある国吉康雄の調査・研究活動を行なってきた。この成果として、国吉康雄と、国吉康雄作品をコレクション活動の原点とし、アート作品の設置理由に、近代以降の瀬戸内海の歴史の顕彰を含む、『ベネッセアートサイト直島』の運動、及びこれに関連する瀬戸内のアートプロジェクトとを繋ぐ企画展覧会を、2019 年4 月、岡山市が運営する岡山シティーミュージアムにおいて実施する。本論は、この企画展、『X-O. Modern（クロスオーバーモダン）SETOUCHI ⇄ Y.Kuniyoshi ⇄ NEW YORK』（仮）の展示計画作成のための考察である。 |

| Abstract | Due to a theorem of Dedekind, factoring ideals generated by prime numbers in number fields is easily done given that said prime number does not divide the index of the field. In this paper, we determine the prime ideal factorizations of both 2 and 3 in cyclic quartic fields whose index is divisible by one of or both of these primes. |
