Abstract 　岡山大学の公認学生サークルのなかで地方創生活動を展開しているサークルに「まちづくり研究会」がある。岡山大学学生サークル「まちづくり研究会」は，2014年に活動を開始，その活動の目的は，過疎化人口減少の問題を抱える瀬戸内市邑久町虫明（おくちょうむしあけ）の裳掛（もかけ）地区をフィールドとした学生と地域住民による地方創生の協働活動であり，通称『瀬戸内市裳掛地区再生プロジェクト』と呼ばれている。 　この10年間，学生たちは先輩たちから後輩たちに実践活動をリレーしながら様々な活動を展開してきた。その主眼が，生徒数の減る裳掛小学校の子どもたちの支援活動を続けることで，生徒数の減少に歯止めをかけることである。そのための具体的な方策として，「学生による情報発信」，「耕作放棄地対策への参加」，「空き家の再生支援による拠点づくり」，「移住定住促進支援」，「地域催事への企画・運営支援」，「子どもたちの見守り」などの活動を実践しながら地域を元気にする応援を継続してきた。なお，掲載写真の使用許可は，活動の都度，地域の皆様（保護者を含む）や学生たちに確認・了解を得ている。 　本論では，この学生たちの活動の成果を紹介しながら，学生たちの学びと地域への貢献という互恵性の視座に立ち「学生による地域創生活動の実践事例研究」として報告する。
