Abstract 本書は、岡山市北区芳賀3082番1に所在する飯盛山東1号墳において、2019年3月に行われた墳丘測量調査と石棺の発掘調査報告である。本古墳は周知の埋蔵文化財包蔵地として登録されていたが、名称を持たなかったため、調査に当たり岡山市と協議の上、飯盛山東1号墳の名称を与えた。本調査は、岡山大学考古学研究室が主体となり、清家章（岡山大学大学院社会文化科学研究科教授）が担当して調査を実施した。

Abstract 本稿は，令和２年度岡山県立総社高等学校家政科１年生を対象とする「国語総合」の授業の実践報告である。稿者は，現在の高等学校国語科の課題克服に向けた指導者の姿勢は「教材への依存度の高さからの脱却」「生徒を真の意味で「主体的な学び」に誘う学習活動の実践」であるとの私見を持っており，本稿では私見にもとづく姿勢で行った１年間の授業について，その概要と教科書所収の文章を「依存から脱出」して教材文として用いた単元の内容を報告した。コロナ禍の影響や評価の面での現場の実態との乖離，稿者の授業作りの「甘さ」等により，成果以上に課題も多く見出せたものの，私見の方向性に間違いがないことが実感できた。

Abstract 本研究の目的は，ヒノキ集成材で製作された木製品のにおいと，その製品に使用された板材を被験者が手びきのこぎりびきする際に生じるにおいとについて，測定機による検査と官能検査とで比較することである。被験者は大学生と中学生とした。測定機での検査では，ほとんどの被験者ののこぎりびきにおいて測定されたにおいの値が木製品のそれより大変大きかった。板材の切断に要する時間が短いほどにおいの値が大きかった。官能検査でにおいの強度と快・不快度を調べると，切断に要する時間が短いほどにおいの強度が大きくなり，においの強度が大きいと快度が大きくなった。のこぎりびき中に大学生が感じたにおいの強度は，木製品各部のそれより大きかった。ヒノキ集成材を手びきのこぎりびきして生じるにおいの強度の大きさが認識された。
