Abstract
オーストリアの前期中等教育段階（第5～8学年）の教科「生物・環境」において、環境教育に関わる新しい課題となっている「生物の多様性」がどのように扱われているかを、学習指導要領と教科書を手がかりに分析した。「生物の多様性」の概念を規定してはいないものの、生態系を軸とした学習を通して、「生物の多様性」を扱っているといえることがわかった。
