Abstract
The electron microscopic study of the mechanism of the implantation of the tumor cells to the peritoneum has been investigated through the rats. The experiment was made with the inoculation of Walker 256 tumor cells into their abdominal cavity. The morphalogic change and the detouching cell contact of the mesothelium make up the phenomenon, leaving empty spaces to basement membrane. This phenomenon makes it easy that the tumor cell contact with the basement membrane. This contacted tumor cell protrudes the pseudopods and begin subserosal invasion, with moving the intracellular organelles. Stretching the pseudopod, the tumor cell invades the subserosal layer, and the implantation is performed.
