The study on determination of the number of erythrocytes containing Heinz's bodies was attempted by having poisoned the rabbits with the three Isomers (o-, m-, p-) of Nitrotoluene, Nitroaniline, Nitrophenol, Toluidine and Aminophenol respectively. It was revealed that the number of erythrocytes containing Heinz's bodies were lesser in those cases in which the o-compounds have been administered, however, with m-compounds, there were relative increase compared with the former, but, the further increase have been noted when the p-compounds were administered. It is reasonably assumed that the difference in the action of the three Isomers would likely be due to steric hindrance of the molecules of the chemical snbstances.
