| 抄録 | The movement of transport policy in United Kingdom and its problems are surveyed in this paper. First, the general trend in transport, road program, and technologies to improve road safety and environment are introduced. Then, concepts to decrease traffic congestion are outlined, followed parking control strategies. Recent issues such as road pricing scheme in London, M25 widening plan, also deregulation and privatisation of transport and their problems are examined.
