高校理科における「微生物」の取り扱いに関する研究

本研究では、学習指導要領と教科書の分析、新聞記事の検索やアンケートを行うことによって、高校理科における「微生物」に関する学習の現状と問題点を探求した。 その結果、地球環境／健康／食料生産に関与する微生物については多く科目で取扱われていた。その一方でバイオマスからエネルギーを製造に関与する微生物については、社会的に注目されているにもかかわらず十分な学習内容が構成されていなかった。

We grasped the state of how microorganisms were dealt with, and found the problems involved, by analyzing curriculum guidelines and high school textbooks, searching for newspaper articles, and gathering questionnaires. In this survey, it was found that microorganisms relating to the global environment/ health/ food production were treated in considerable detail in many textbooks, while microorganisms relating to energy production derived from the biomass were played down and not treated preperly in all textbooks, though it is drawing a great deal of public attention.
