Biblical Criticism in George Eliot's "Peter von Bohlen's Introduction to the Book of Genesis"

抄録	we look closely at George Eliot's essays and book reviews, it dawns upon us that biblical criticism was one of the few central concerns she held consistently over her years of essay and review writing. Already in 1851 she exhibited a formidable knowledge of the critical study of the Bible as we see its best fruit in the reviews entitled "R.W.Marckay's The Progress of Christendom." These are powerful enough testimonies to make us realize that her historical study of the Bible was a mirror in which her path of self-discovery had been reflected. Naturally enough we can see in them Marian's (earlier George Eliot's) mature thoughts on religion and science. And these, as some of the major critics of the age agree, represent the voice of the nineteenth century.

抄録	オーストリアの初等教育段階における科学教育、教科「事象教授」の中の領域「自然」「技術」に焦点を当て、その次段階、前期中等教育段階の教科「生物・環境」との関連性の観点に立ち、学習指導要領、教科書などから、目標・内容、現に示されている生物の現状を明らかにした。学習目標・学習内容において一貫性が見られず、さらに教科書への具体性の程度が低く、また「生物の多様性」に関して配慮するレベルも異なり、教科書に示されている生物には違いがあるものの規則性は見いだせず、結局、教科「生物・環境」の前段階として意識されているとは言い難い。

抄録	Protocols of a chromosome observation method described by Iwanami and Moriwaki were introduced. By contrast, the proposed an improves method of chromosome observation and explained how to make karyotype by microphotographs of chromosomes. Examples of chromosome spread and karyotype were here presenred and it was indicated that karyotype analysis is still a useful tool to understand genome transmission.

抄録	本稿では、援助活動ではなくて、「ソーシャルサポート」の「交換」を通じた「対人関係の形成」という枠組みで見ていく。ソーシャルサポートの研究系譜に位置づけて評価していくため、まず提供サポートのカテゴリや量を尋ねる。援助提供の実績のみならず援助提供の意欲も聞くことで、より心理的な側面からのサポート授受関係の把握を行う。援助対象者とのサポート交換の結果を、対人関係の次元でみるために、対象者との関わりの深さ、援助カテゴリの多様さ、対象者との関係の満足度を測定する。サポートの交換状況をつかむため、対象者から得るものを尋ねて、授受のバランスを評価する。参加動機については、ボランティア活動といっても多様なため、我々の予備調査から得られた主な内容をカバーして設定することとした。ボランティア自身にとっての活動の意味を把握するためには、活動から得るものや活動の経済的評価、生活の満足度や張り合い、活動開始後の生活実感の変化などを尋ねた。対人関係面における充実も想定して、ネットワークが拡大したか胴かも聞いた。

抄録	Quality control in mass-reared melon files, Bactricera cucurbitae, after eradication is discussed, based on the results of artificial selection experiments. First, a brief history of quality control in mass-rearing of insects is described. In practical mass-rearing of melon fly, many traits habe already been differentiated between mass-reared and wild files. These differing traits are reviewed and the factors which caused these differences are considered. It was considered that the differences between wild and mass-reared melon files depended on the selection pressures from the mass-rearing method. Next, the results of several artificial selection experiments using the melon fly are reviewed. Finally, consideration is given to some correlated responses to artificial selection in mass-rearing. Longevity that is correlated to early fecundity was successfully controlled by artificial selection for reproduction in the mass-rearing system. On the basis of these results, an improved method for quality control in mass-reared melon fly with considerations for quantitative genetics is discussed.
