| 抄録 | In semiarid areas of Mexico, lack of organic matter is a major constraint for production of corn and frijol beans, the main crops of the region. A multi-year experiment was carried out at the CENGUA Experiment Station, Guanajuato State, Mexico. Soil moisture was highest in the treatments with 100% or 67% of corn residues. Yields of frijol beans increased as the proportion of corn residues increased in all three years, but there was no significant difference between the treatment with all corn residues and the treatment with one-third reduction of corn residues in two of the three years. The harvest index was highest in the same two treatments with higher proportions of corn residues in the last years. These results suggest that corn residues can be reduced by one third in fertilization of corn-frijol bean systems while maintaining adequate frijol bean yields. This could assist in establishment of sustainable corn-frijol bean-cattle integrated agriculture in semi-arid areas of Mexico. |

| 抄録 | In this paper, we aim to explain the history and areal distribution of grape production in Okayama prefecture with the special attention to the main kinds of grapes. Although Muscat cultivation in glasshouse was already been introduced in the 19th century, grape production had remarkably increased up to mid-20th century. After various kinds of grapes such as Neo-Muscat and Campbell Early have been cultivated, it has come to concentrate on the production of Pioniere in Okayama prefecture. The cultivated area of grapes is, however, decreasing gradually due to aging in the farm labor force and the lack of agricultural successors. In the light of the investigations, this research subsequently stated the outline and the transition of the grape production with the exsisting statistical materials etc. |

| 抄録 | 現在までの学校における教育相談は、主に個人的な面接活動などを中心に、実践家が自己研鑽を積みながら作り上げられてきた｡その方法論や内容は多くの実践研究者が示すところである。しかし、現場で行われている教育相談活動を検討すると、その学校の現状によって様々な形態での教育相談活動が行われていることがわかる。そこで本研究では、現在の日本の教育相談のあり方とその課題について質問紙調査法によって明らかにする。岡山県近辺の公立中学校で教育相談担当者に対して実施された調査結果から、主に記述回答を中心に、教育相談に対する認識や学校組織特性に関する分析をKJ法を用いて行い、現在学校で学習面、心理・教育面、進路面の支援にかかわる必要があるとされている教育相談の学校組織への定着に関する阻害要因などの問題点と今後の課題を考察する。 |

| 抄録 | The purpose of this study was to develop an instrument to measure the school administrators' assessment scale of teacher performance. First, organizational psychological research on performance appraisal and the factors that affect the rating was reviewed. Next, organizational research on the school administrators' assessment scale of teacher performance was reviewed. It was noted that performance appraisal must be accurate because it is used the decisions about promotion, salary, assignments, and education. After problems were described, a new version of the school administrators' assessment scale of teacher performance was developed. In the Study 1, an inventory of the principals' assessment scale of teacher performance was conducted by 98 primary school principals. Factor Analysisof scale of the principals' assessment resulted in 6 factors (Treatment of school business, Classroom management and Pupils' Guidance, Educational guidance, INterpersonal skills with children, School-based training of teachers, Educational guidance, Organizational activity). In the Study 2, an inventory of the assistant principals' assessment scale of teacher performance was conducted by 104 primary school assistant principals. Factor analysis of scales of the assistant principals' assessment resulted in 5 factors ( Interpersonal skills with children, Organizational activity, Classroom management and Pupils' Guidance, School-based training of teachers, Intersonal skills with parents and collegue). Results were discussed from multi-dimentional assessment scales of teacher performance including of contextual performance. |

| 抄録 | ｢権威｣や｢規律｣の問題は、一方では子どもを上から外から強制し規制する、いわば反教育的なものとされ、他方、今日の教育問題は｢規律｣を育てられない親や教師の教育力の低下、親や教師の｢権威｣の失墜にあるとし、その回復を能力に見合った教育と究極における家族愛や国家愛の教育に求める。いま、教育における｢権威｣や｢規律｣の問題は、批判の対象であるとともに回復すべき事象ともなっている。本論文ではこの間題について、日本での実践･理論と重ね合わせつつ、ドイツを代表する教授学者の一人でもあるエブリの論考を手がかりに考察し、第一は、｢権威｣や｢規律｣という問題は、好むと好まざるとにかかわらず、教育実践において常に存在しているということ、第二は、教育的権威を四つの枠組みにおいて捉えること、第三に、個人の規律と集団の規律を相互関連的に捉えることの重要性について論究した。 |

| 抄録 | 本研究は中学校および適応指導教室の生徒を対象としたメンタルヘルスと体験活動の充実感を測定可能なチェックリストを作成し、その運用体制に必要な議論を行うことを目的とする。現職教師ら合計10名とともにメンタルヘルスと体験活動充実感のチェックリストを作成した。2006年度に中学生の職場体験活動の評価として111名、また適応指導教室の体験活動後の振り返りとし、のべ108名分のデータを得て分析を行った。その結果、体験活動充実感・チェックリストの得点が高ければ、メンタルヘルス・チェックリストの得点が改善される傾向が中学校と適応指導教室それぞれで確認された。そのため、適応指導教室群の方が中学校群よりも難しさのある回答の得点分布を持つことが確認された。そのため、適応指導教室群の得点分布を参考に不登校等のリスクが高まると考えられるチェックリストの危険域の存在が示唆されるとともに、メンタルヘルスだけでなく適応指導教室の一部通所者の軽度発達障害へのフォローと、今後教育現場にとって経済的・労力的にコストが低く利用できるチェックリストの運用方法を議論した。 |

| 抄録 | As construction of final waste disposal site is essential recently, a problem where we should build it becomes important issue. However, public opposition occurs for the construction because the final waste disposal site has negative image such as pollution of various kinds, increase of traffic volume and noise by truck and bulldozer, and aggravation of living conditions. Public opposition is the most critical problem in constructing final waste disposal site. The source of public opposition has been characterized as NIMBY or not-in-my-yard. This paper presents a survey of the resident awareness on final waste disposal site, and attempts to find factors which affect the public opposition using logistic regression analysis and CART(classification and regression tree). |

| 抄録 | In this paper, we built some models of the spatial data, and evaluate those, using the crime data of Kawaguchi city, Saitama prefecture in Japan. Compute the Moran’I statistics of five crime data related to thefts in the city, the value of sneakthief take the aggregation. So, we pay attention to the sneak, and make a model to estimate the incidence of the events. As a regression, we select the old-age index among regional indexes. Applying a simple regression(SR), a spatial autoregressive model(SAR), a geographically weighted regression(GWR) , we evaluate these models. In GWR model, it is interesting that there are some sections in which the sign of the coefficient takes the opposite versus SR and SAR models. So, stratifying the data by the sign of it, we investigate to data precisely. |

| 抄録 | 本研究の目的は教師のメンタルヘルス促進の実践のために、高い「バーンアウト」を生じることが予測できる教師の職業ストレッサーの類型化をこころみることである。岡山県の小・中学校教師710名を対象に調査を行った。まず、「職業環境の要因」(28項目)と「職務事態の要因」(16項目)、「個人的要因」(5項目)からなる3種類の教師の職業ストレッサーの3要因の平均得点を代表値とし、それをもとに小学校・中学校教師それぞれにおいてクラスター分析を実施した。その結果、小学校は3つ、中学校は4つのクラスターが示された。次いで、各クラスターごとに「バーンアウト」の3要因の平均得点の比較を一元配置の分散分析で検討した。その結果、小学校のクラスターは「バーンアウト」の高さの一貫した差が確認できない一方で、中学校は特定のクラスターの順番にあわせてほぼ「バーンアウト」が悪化していく傾向が確認された。以上の結果を基に「個人的要因」のストレッサーとしての「バーンアウト」への影響過程の複雑さと今後の実践上の課題を議論した。 |

| 抄録 | It is necessary to consider a stochastic variability in modeling malaria epidemic behavior since the malaria infection cycle essentially depends on stochastic elements. For this requirement, we need to construct an appropriate statistical model from available data in advance. In this report, we provide some statistical models for the analysis of malaria epidemic behavior at Ishigaki Island. These models can be used for recurrence of past malaria epidemic and prediction of future malaria epidemic at Ishigaki Island. |

| 抄録 | Continuous Performance Test (CPT) は、注意機能び測定に用いられる神経心理学的検査として知られている。測定条件や評価指標は多様であるため、現在までに報告されている研究成果の解釈は容易ではない。そこで、CPTの主な特徴を概観し、成績に影響を及ぼす要因について既報の文献に基づいて検討した。CPTは課題の種類によりX, A-X, not-X タイプに分類され、いずれのタイプにおいても刺激呈示間隔や刺激呈示確率などが異なり、測定条件の違いによる評価指標への影響が認められた。しかし、刺激の性質や所要時間などの条件についての影響は未だ十分には検討されていない。そこで、本報の臨機応用にはこれらの条件の違いによる影響を考慮した条件設定が必要と思われた。 |

| 抄録 | The present paper aims at examinig the word 'creature' from both synchronic and diachronic perspectives. The first section begins with providing several definitions of 'creature,' along with its etymology, in reference to such major dictionaries as the Oxford English Dictionary and Johnson's A Dictionary of the English Language(1755). In the subsequent three sections, the frequency and the collocation of this word are investigated through Richardson's Pamela and Clarissa as our main linguistic materials. A comparative discussion is made with several literary works from the late 16th to the early 19th centuries. Our final purpose here is to explore one of the stylistic features peculiar to 'sentimentalism' - a literary trend in eighteenth century English where Richardson played a significant role as its founder. |

| 抄録 | ことばの意味をその前後の文脈や会話の参加者,話された状況など様々な側面を考慮して捉えようとする学問分野に語用論がある｡ こno 研究領域の中で,20年ほど前からポライトネス(politeness)ということばが頻繁に現れるようになってきている｡ 様々な研究者によってポライトネスが論じられ,またその公理や理論となるものが提唱されてきた｡中でも Brownin と Levinson のポライトネス理論は「ポライトネス」研究の発展に大きく貢献したと考えられる｡ 本稿では,彼らのポライトネス理論に基づき,ジェンダーの観点から｢ほめる｣という言語行為に注目して,実際の談話を分析し,日本では｢ほめる｣行為はジェンダー･イデオロギーとして｢女性｣と深く結びついていることを示す｡ |

| 抄録 | The present paper focuses attention on the process of a search for meaning conducted by Dorothea the major protagonist in George Eliot's Middlemarch during her days of the honeymoon in Rome. The process of her growing awareness of Casaubon her husband's pathetic reality is seen to represent her emergence from narcissistic idealism into a higher vision of seeing things as they are and sympathizing with fallible fellow beings. First it is made clear that Dorothea's self-idealized sense of devotion in regard to her subsequent husband Will Ladislaw the romantic voice of George Eliot's own. Then we place the process of Dorothea's self-discovery in the light of the author's own spiritual autobiography. Lastly we bring into focus a stylistic analysis of the discource depicting Dorothea's awakening. Thus we see how scientific imagination and the romantic vision of seeing into a whole organic unity behind the seeming miscellaneousness strike a subtle balance in the conception of Dorothea's drama. |

| 抄録 | 本研究の目的は,全ての生徒が乳幼児との関わりを通して,親になるということを考え,自己理解を図る保育授業の開発にある｡本報は,この目的を達成するための第四段階として,高等学校家庭科普通科目｢家庭総合｣を履修している生徒 198名 (第3学年男子 57名,女子 141名)に実施されたFlour Baby Prqject(以下, FBPと称す)を検討した｡その結果,学校全教員の FBPに対する理解と協力が前提とはなるが,①一人の家庭科教員で 40名の生徒を対象に, 2時間の｢家庭総合｣の授業時間と 1日間の校内活動で FB Pを実践できること,② 7日間の実践と比較すると,獲得認識の質･量の差はみられるが,壁徒は,③愛情を持ってFBを抱き,④世話に伴う大変さから,⑤子育てに対する責任と現在の自分は精神的･経済的に自立していないため親になることはできないという(む｢現在の自分に関する認識｣を形成していた｡それに対して,⑦｢家族の協力の必要性｣や｢自分の親に対する思い｣を獲得していた生徒は少なかったが,授業で行ったディスカッションにより,子育てには｢家族や周りの人の協力が必要である｣と認識した生徒もある程度みられた｡ |
