| 抄録 | The human nightsoil is believed to contain some substance inhibiting the development of Ascaris eggs and eventually destroying them. We had experimentally demonstrated Ascaris eggs are destroyed under a certain condition. in which albuminous puterraction takes place. A similar condition obtains during decomposition of the human nightsoil, provided that some change is brought about in the body of the fecal bacteria by the use of Methionine.
