| Title Alternative | Regional Revitalization through Education : An Example of Wake Town’s Education Policy |

| Abstract | This article analyzes the importance of education when attempting regional revitalization by considering the case of the introduction of‘ an English Education District’ and a public cram school in a Japanese town. As Japan faces a depopulated society, it is important for local administrations to maintain their local population through public policy that supports economic activities and improves living conditions. Wake Town in Okayama Prefecture has already undertaken a variety of actions, supported by the human resources of the national government and private companies, to promote its livability. This article elucidates the reason behind Wake Town＇s strong commitment to its education policy, which has resulted in, for example, the creation of a public cram school. This article focuses on three points: （1） the background of the education policy in Wake Town, （2） the management of the newly established public cram school, and （3） the evaluation of this school in the view of its students and their parents. Finally, the article argues that free public education is becoming increasingly important for community development in the global era ofthe 21st century. |

| Abstract | The purpose of this paper is to consider the meaning of "economic substance" in taxation. In Japanese Income Tax Act （Article 12）, where a person to whom the revenue is legally imputed is merely nominal and other person enjoys it, the tax shall be imposed on the person who actually enjoys the revenue. This is called "the Principle of taxation on Actual Beneficiary". But it is not always easy to determine the person who actually enjoys the revenue from assets or business. In such a case, there are two ways of thinking. The first is a way of thinking in which a valid private-law contract is considered more important than economic substance. The second is a way of thinking in which economic substance is considered more important than a private-law contract. This provision（ Article 12） was enacted in 1950＇s, but opinions are divided among scholars on this point and there is room for further consideration. This paper will be considered this subject from legal and economic viewpoints. |

| Title Alternative | New leader builds a strategy to recover the performance |

| Abstract | In this paper, focusing on the management crisis, we analyzed the judgments and actions taken by a new leader entrusted to reconstruction and the relationship with the organization members who responded to it, and examined the behavioral style of the leader. As a result of case study, we were able to confirm the following points. Under the influence of the representative heuristic, the new leader decided in a top-down style the rationalization plan that overestimated the start dash to survive the company. For the members, this will give rise to a situation where it is not convincing. Subsequent actions of the leader are consistent with behavior of innovative leadership such as role modeling, schema transformation. It is linked to the characteristics of heuristics such as easy remembrance （recallability） and affinity. If such behavior is taken, there is a possibility of showing synchronicity. Also, leaders will take care to treat everyone equally through specific actions and express sincerity to rationalization measures substantially. In response to such attitudes, members feel strongly about interpersonal justice. It was suggested that the behavior and attitude of the leader mentioned above will make a stepping stone toward recovery of business performance. |

| Abstract | 本稿は、見本合わせ手続や刺激等価性クラスの研究で使用される「関係反応」概念に焦点を当て、定義の明確化と適切な使用について論じることを目的とする。なお、関係反応を基に構成・発展した関係フレーム理論（Hayes, Barnes-Holmes, & Roche, 2001）については、紙幅の制限により、ごく一部の議論について取り上げるだけにとどめる。本稿の論点は以下の通り。 《論点1》関係反応の定義を明確にする必要がある。 《論点2》関係反応の定義にあたっては独立した2つの刺激が前提となるが、環境事象の一部を1つの刺激として扱うか、複数の刺激に分けて扱うのか、という基準は一義的には定まらない。 《論点3》見本合わせ手続の分析においては、「選択型見本合わせ」と、「Yes／No型見本合わせ」）の課題構造が異なる点に留意する必要がある。 《論点4》）ある刺激に別の刺激を対応づける行動と、2つの刺激を比較してタクトする行動とは異なる点に留意する必要がある。 《論点5》関係フレーム理論は、刺激等価性の焼き直しではない。 |

| Abstract | Most gastric bezoars can be treated with endoscopic fragmentation combined with or without cola dissolution, whereas laparotomy or laparoscopic surgery is generally inevitable for small intestinal bezoars because they cause small bowel obstruction. Therefore, early diagnosis and management of gastric bezoars are necessary to prevent bezoar-induced ileus. To investigate the incidence of overlooked gastric bezoars during the initial esophagogastroduodenoscopy, we retrospectively reviewed the cases of 27 patients diagnosed with gastrointestinal bezoars. The bezoars were diagnosed using esophagogastroduodenoscopy (n=25), abdominal ultrasonography (n=1), and barium follow-through examination (n=1). Bezoars were overlooked in 9/25 patients (36.0%) during the initial endoscopy examination because the bezoars were covered with debris in the stomach. Of the 9 patients, 8 had concomitant gastric ulcers, and the other patient had gastric lymphoma. Although a computed tomography (CT) scan was performed before the second-look endoscopy in 8 of the 9 patients, the bezoars were mistaken as food debris on CT findings and were overlooked in these patients. In conclusion, gastric bezoars may not be discovered during the initial esophagogastroduodenoscopy and CT scan. In cases with debris in the stomach, second-look endoscopy is essential to detect bezoars. |

| Abstract | Anticancer drugs induce cell-cycle arrest and apoptosis not only in tumor cells, but also in immune cells. However, many preclinical and clinical findings show that some chemotherapeutic agents can improve the antitumor efficacy of immunotherapy. We immunohistochemically analyzed the degree of immune cell infiltration and the relevance of programmed cell death 1 ligand-1 (PD-L1) expression in surgically resected oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) specimens from patients who had undergone pretreatment with certain chemotherapies and other patients without pretreatment. We divided the patients into the group of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) patients (n=8) and the nNAC (without NAC) patient group (n=10). We observed that NAC induced infiltrations of CD4, CD8 T cells and CD56 NK cells into the tumor microenvironment. Decreased numbers of Tregs and PD-1-positive cells were observed in the NAC group. No significant difference was observed in the degree of immune-cell infiltration between the patient groups except for CD56 NK cells in the stroma and PD-1 cells in cancer nests. Eighty percent of the nNAC specimens showed intermediate-to-strong PD-L1 protein expression, whereas 75% of the NAC specimens showed down-regulation of the PD-L1 protein, indicating the effectiveness of the chemotherapeutic treatment before surgery. |
