This study evaluates the direct impact of ECC and its relationship to profitability (ROA) using panel data of Japanese companies from 2010 to 2022 and Pooled OLS regression models. The results demonstrate the risk-mitigating function of sustainability investments by showing that, although independent ECC have little direct significance, their interaction with firm profitability dramatically lowers earnings volatility and leverage instability. These findings underscore the economic value of environmental strategies, suggesting that incorporating profitability considerations into sustainability practices enhances operational stability and reduces risk exposure. To help policymakers, investors, and corporate managers strike a balance between sustainability and financial performance, this study contributes to the growing body of research on the relationship 本稿では，岡山県の「高梁川流域連携中枢都市圏」で2014年から開催されている「高梁川流域経済成長戦略会議」における参加主体間の情報交流についてのネットワーク分析を行った。高梁川流域連携中枢都市圏（高梁川流域圏）とは，岡山県高梁川周辺に位置する現在の新見市，高梁市，総社市，早島町，倉敷市，矢掛町，井原市，浅口市，里庄町，笠岡市の10自治体が参加している連携中枢都市圏である。高梁川流域圏におけるネットワーク分析に際しては，同圏域内で展開されている事業を８つに分類し，それぞれの事業に関する参加主体間の情報交流についてアンケート調査を行った。ネットワーク指標については事業ごとに次数中心性と媒介中心性の中心性指標を，また事業別に密度，推移性，相互性を算出した。事業別にみると，観光事業についての情報交流が最も密なネットワーク構造をしており，ネットワークの視点では観光事業が高梁川流域圏内で最も勢力的に行われている事業といえる。また全事業において特定の行政主体や商工会議所をはじめとする地域経済団体等の中心性指標が全体的に大きな値をとっており，ネットワークにおいて情報交流のハブや情報の集中・分散主体として機能していることが明らかになった。分析結果を踏まえ，ネットワークの視点から高梁川流域圏の今度の地域振興について２点提言した。１つは事業によって情報交流のハブや情報の集中・分散主体を主体間で分担することによって，すべての事業で密なネットワークを築くことを目指すことである。もう１つは高梁川流域圏の情報交流ネットワークに全く参加していない主体をなくすことで，全体的に密なネットワークを目指すことである。No compositions of feldspar and volcanic glass clasts in haniwa from kofuns and Sue ware from the Sabukaze kiln site, both in the Kibi region, southwestern Japan, to estimate the thermal conditions of ceramic firing in the 5th–8th centuries CE. Based on the coexistence of molten and unmolten feldspar rims, the solidus temperatures were estimated at ∼ 1050°C–1150°C for haniwa and ∼ 1150°C–1200°C for Sue ware. Volcanic glass compositions changed systematically during firing, showing increases in K2O and decreases in Na2O. From these observations, we propose a semi-quantitative archaeothermometer using variations in the K/Na molar ratio of volcanic glass within a ceramic matrix. In this study, we provide a plausible explanation why fiscal competition for an MNE keeping firms’ location choices unchanged can be beneficial by incorporating governments’ decisions on public investments in transport infrastructure, such as ports, which reduces the trade costs between two competing countries. Our model divides transport costs into infrastructure-independent and infrastructure-dependent; investments in infrastructure reduce infrastructure-dependent costs. We show that fiscal competition increases countries’ investments in infrastructure under low infrastructure-independent transport costs without affecting firms’ locations. Furthermore, we show that the host country benefits from fiscal competition, although it pays a subsidy to the MNE. We updated the result of Kishida（2020）and modified the estimation method of the lost income. We defined labor force exiters as those who were out of work 2 years after they exited. The results using the latest Employment Status Survey for 2022 are as follow. Among the 10.6 thousand annual care leavers, 35.9％ restarted work and the remaining 64.1％ exited the labor market. Three-fourths of returned to the exiters were non-regular workers. Among the care leavers previously in regular employment who returned to the labor market, 34.4％ of them restarted work as regular workers and the remainder restarted work as non-regular workers. Among the exiters, the ratio of care leavers to all exiters was 3.8％ . More than 10％ of women exiters of 40-50 years of age were care leavers. Hence, the loss of middle-aged employment due to care leavers is significant.<br>
The wages of care leavers' previous jobs are indispensable for calculating the loss of income. However, our data did not contain the necessary information. Hence, as a proxy variable, we used the wages of workers whose attributes are similar to the ones of the care leavers. Additionally, in the loss of income calculation, we considered the income accrued from restarting work.<br>
The total loss of income during one year after care leave was 187.4 billion yen. We decomposed the income loss into the loss incurred by being unemployed and the loss incurred by getting a job that pays less than the previous one. The former loss was 77.1％ and the latter one was 22.9％ . Approximately 70％ of the income loss due to wage declines was due to previous full-time employment, and 86.3％ of that was due to resuming work as non-full-time employment with significantly lower wages. If the separation period lasts for more than one year, the income loss for society as a whole is the sum of the income losses in the years when the separation period is different. Based on our calculations, the annual income loss was at least 403.2 billion yen.<br>
The number of people leaving the labor market was 74,400 in 2012, 63,700 in 2017, and 68,100 in 2022. In 2012, when the unemployment rate was high, the return to work rate was lower than in 2017 and 2022, and the number of people leaving the labor market was relatively high. Income losses were 382.1 billion yen in 2012, 363.9 billion yen in 2017, and 399.2 billion yen in 2022. Reviewing transcultural perspectives of psychotrauma helps understand its complexities and contextual impacts. This paper summarizes the Japan–Netherlands symposium on psychotrauma held on March 1, 2024. Despite experiencing psychological trauma from World War II and numerous natural disasters, Japan did not actively research post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) for nearly 50 years after the war. The Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake and the Tokyo subway Sarin gas attack (1995) popularized the term PTSD in Japan and triggered related research. The absence of psychotrauma research in Japan may reflect a form of state-level PTSD, characterized by avoidance. Japan’s collectivist culture, stigma against seeking psychological help, view of patience as a virtue, survivor guilt, and moral injury were potential related factors. From a European perspective, we examined how “Konzentrationslager” (KZ) syndrome, a trauma-related disorder, evolved independently into diverse conceptual frameworks, ultimately contributing to the acceptance of PTSD following its introduction in 1980. Beyond state compensation for concentration camp survivors, advocacy by feminist movements and veterans' groups increased awareness of psychotrauma across Europe, fostering scholarly research and public discourse. Both PTSD and KZ syndromes are diagnostic categories shaped by specific historical and cultural contexts and should not be regarded as simple, universally applicable medical conditions. The relocation induced by a free trade agreement changes the allocation of decision rights within multinational enterprises and the purpose of transfer pricing from avoiding high taxes to strengthening their product market competitiveness. This study shows that a free trade agreement with rules of origin may hurt both a multinational enterprise and a local firm, despite tariff elimination, when the relocation occurs and the decision rights change from centralization to decentralization. Moreover, such a free trade agreement can hurt consumers. Yet a limitation of the literature is the prevalence of modern household basic amenities and occupant health, especially in Vietnam. This paper examines the impact of modern household basic amenities on occupant health by applying the Vietnam Household Standard Survey 2018. By applying the Tobit method, it is revealed that household amenities displayed a significant association with health outcomes. For instance, individuals residing in concrete houses or employing waste collection systems exhibited decreased illness likelihood. Handwashing with soap correlated with a diminished illness probability. Tobit analysis highlights internet accessibility as significant in reducing days of work incapacity (approximately 6 days less). Gender, residential location, and total income also impact workdays. Age and education exhibit inverse relationships with workdays missed. We observe that, in contrast to FX volatility, high FX ambiguity leads to high currency carry returns. We also reveal that FX ambiguity is weakly associated with the highest interest rate portfolio, but strongly related to the second highest interest rate portfolio. These results suggest that FX ambiguity captures elements of uncertainty that are not captured by FX volatility. Using the town and district data from the Economic Census for Economic Activity, we attempted a spatial analysis of the information and communications industry in the Tokyo Special Wards as well as in Sapporo, Sendai, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka, which have regional central functions. As a result of detecting spatial autocorrelation in small areas within each city, hotspots indicating the agglomeration of information and communications industry offi ces were found in the city center of each city. At the same time, we were able to confi rm the impact of agglomeration economies, which are the premise of the self-organizing model, and confi rmed that the information and communications industry is an industry suitable for simulation of the self-organizing model.
Krugman（1996）was the fi rst to model the self-organizing model in cities and clarifi ed the emergence principle of peripheral cities, but this was limited to numerical simulations. Later, Kumar et al.（2007）used actual data to show that Krugman’s self-organizing model could be applied to predict corporate agglomeration and dispersion. The 25 haniwa sherds analyzed from 12 representative mounded tombs are composed of mineral and rock inclusions with variable grain size set in a clay matrix. The dominant inclusions are quartz, K-feldspar, and plagioclase, associated with minor amounts of amphibole, volcanic glass, and granitic rocks in all the haniwa sherds, and small amounts of hornfels, quartz rock, and accessory minerals, including mica, ilmenite, and chromite, in some of the sherds. Amphibole and plagioclase have compositional variations indicative of the mixing of tephra and granitic components. The compositions of volcanic glass inclusions are similar to those of the Aira-Tanzawa and Kikai-Akahoya tephras widely distributed in southwestern Japan. Bulk chemical compositions show magmatic differentiation trends, which are variable between individual tombs. From these results, it is concluded that the paste materials of haniwa in the Kibi region were commonly derived from weathered granitic rocks mixed with minor amounts of three widespread tephras. The variations of chemical and mineralogical compositions are probably the reflection of local geologic settings, suggesting the presence of specific mining sites of paste materials around each tomb. A“ revolving door” economy is an economy in which firms that enter the market have a short existence period, withdraw and enter the market repeatedly, and new entrants do not contribute to productivity improvement. This means that if new entrants are not sufficiently innovative compared to incumbents, even if the rate of entry into business rises, they will simply be replaced by firms whose productivity level has not changed much, and this will not lead to job creation or improving productivity. A contrasting concept is the replacement of firms by Schumpeter's “creative destruction.” The high level of technology and productivity of new firms entering the market drives inefficient incumbents out of the market. Looking at the statistics, there is a tendency for both large cities to have higher business entry and exit rates, but the difference between the entry and exit rates is greater in metropolitan areas. Although it depends on the regional characteristics, location competitiveness is generally higher in metropolitan areas, and there is a tendency for the turnover rate to be high or the survival period to be short. To give a new rationale and insights into the impacts of transfer pricing and trade liberalization on a firm’s global activities, this study incorporates transfer pricing and investigates a foreign firm’s entry decision: exports, greenfield FDI (GFDI), or cross-border mergers and acquisitions (CM&As). We show that CM&A is the equilibrium entry mode when transfer pricing regulation is loose, whereas the choice between exports and GFDI depends on the fixed costs of GFDI. Moreover, trade liberalization increases the likelihood of CM&A but decreases that of exports because a reduction in trade costs enhances tax-avoidance efficiency due to more intrafirm trade, implying that tax avoidance in the form of CM&A becomes crucial as globalization progresses. Our welfare analysis shows that regulating CM&A based on consumers’ benefits may result in welfare reduction because profit shifting is most effective under CM&A and a host country’s tax revenue from the foreign firm increases. などにおいて、大学生などの進路選択自己効力感を高める因子としてのソーシャルスキルの存在を明らかにしてきた。しかしながら2020年以降のコロナ禍においては、大学生は学業の場のみならず、課外活動やアルバイトの場においても対人関係を深める活動が制限されると共に、コミュニケーションの機会が失われ、ソーシャルスキルを高める機会は低減した。筆者らはこのような環境下においてもソーシャルスキルを高める因子としてのEI（感情知性）に着目し、2021年度の調査を基礎に町田・開本（2022）においてEI（感情知性）とソーシャルスキル並びに進路選択自己効力感の関係について明らかにしてきた。その後2021年からの3年に渡る、ソーシャルスキルに加えEI（感情知性）が大学生の進路選択自己効力感にどのような影響を及ぼしているかについて明らかにすることを目的に、大学生を対象にサーベイ調査を継続してきた。結果的にEI（感情知性）はソーシャルスキルを媒介して進路選択自己効力感に正の影響を及ぼすことが3年間の継続調査により明らかになった。No The economic base model has some conditional assumptions while it is quite tractable.<br>
Recently, papers by Moretti and others show significant regional multiplier effects of innovative jobs. They refocused on the traditional economic base model. However, their approach has several deficiencies concerning the identification of basic/non-basic industries and ambiguity of multiplier generating mechanisms.<br>
This paper focuses on regional specialization of knowledge intensive industries and creative jobs which are the driving forces of regional development in the framework of the economic base model. The estimations of regional economic multiplier in terms of employment are carried out using two-digit employment and three-digit job classification data at local municipality level with two-period data. Using these data, I explain regional differences by degree of specialization of knowledge intensive industries and creative workers. By doing this, I propose contemporary regional economic policy. Furthermore, by comparing multiplier effects at local municipality level and regional employment area level, benefits of municipal consolidation are shown.No potential conflict of interest relevant to 幼児の親に対する「養育省察機能質問票」（PRFQ）18項目版の日本語版（PRFQJ）が開発された。原版がバック・トランスレーションを通して日本語に訳された。この日本語版に因子分析を行った結果，確信的省察，省察不全，省察的姿勢という３つの因子が抽出された。この３因子に負荷の高い項目から成る下位尺度のα係数は. 80以上であった。この過程で２つの項目がすべての因子に負荷が低いので削除された。この質問票の妥当性確認のために，自己および他者の内面への意識，育児自己効力感，アレキシサイミア傾向との関連を検討した。この質間票で査定される省察機能は育児自己効力感と関連していた。「省察的姿勢」は自己および他者の内面への意識と正の相関を示し，「省察不全」はアレキシサイミア傾向と正の相関を示した。しかし，さらに妥当性の検討を行う必要があると思われる。No 本稿では，私立幼稚園における保育心理臨床業務の一つとして行った園内研修の実践について，その概要とアンケート結果を報告する。園内研修の対象者は幼稚園教諭８名で，新版K式発達検査の概要と，園児の発達検査の結果を共有する形で行った。アンケートでは，＜発達検査の理解の深まり＞＜子ども理解の深まり＞＜今後の研修の在り方＞の３つの大カテゴリーが抽出され，検査を理解することで，結果を通した子ども理解が深まること,クラス担任それぞれが検査結果を通して子ども理解を深めるのみならず，園全体で検査結果を子ども理解に役立てる視点が重要であることが示された。No Okayama2758-6138212023キャリアのある新任医療従事者へのこころの健康支援―心理教育“サクセスフル・セルフ”による研修の試み―1523EN10.18926/66636キャリアのある医療従事者は，多様な課題を抱え職場適応に困難を感じ，職場定着しづらい場合があるものの，組織的な支援については，ほとんど検討されていない。そこで本研究では，キャリアのある新任医療従事者へ心理教育“サクセスフル・セルフ”を活用した研修を行い，本取り組みの意義等について検討することを目的とした。対象は，A 医療機関に採用されたキャリアのある新任職員のうち，本研修会に全回参加した14名である。研修会に関するプロセス評価分析を行った結果，各セッションおよび研修全体における本研修の目標到達度もしくは役立ち度および感想が示され，研修１回目から２回目の質問において同僚の輪にうまく入る，困難に打ち勝つ自己効力感，他者との関係性に関する自己効力感の肯定的変化が見られた。以上より，本研修会の有用性が示唆された。No Okayama2758-6138212023心理・社会的危機状態に対する児童生徒と教員の認知について−架空事例を用いた不利益場面への認知と援助要請志向性の検討−713EN10.18926/66635 貧困や虐待など，子どもを取り巻く危機状況の課題の一つに，「当事者自身が置かれている状況を問題として認識していない」ことが挙げられる。そこで本研究では，児童生徒の危機と，児童生徒の危機への認知能力について教職員がどのように評価しているか調査した。その結果，教職員の視点から「危機や課題を児童生徒自身が認識できている」と判断されるのは半数以下にとどまっていることが明らかとなった（研究T）。さらにそれを踏まえ，認知的発達が十分ではないと推測される小学生を対象に，貧困などの「不利益場面」をどの程度認知できるか架空事例を用いて検討したところ，低学年ほど危機について正しい認識ができていないこと，危機察知が低い傾向にある児童は，他者へ援助を求めることの必要性を感じにくいことが示唆された（研究U）。No 本研究では，マインドフルネスを測定するために開発された「サザンプトン・マインドフルネス質問票Southampton Mindfulness Questionnaire：SMQ」の日本語版（SMQJ）を作成し，初段階の信頼性と妥当性の検討を行った。SMQJを構成する16項目のα係数はα=.73で，まずまずの信頼性が得られた。SMQJと日本語版MAASとの相関係数はr=.27と，有意ではあるが低く，これはMAASが測定する傾向とSMQJが測定するものとの相違による結果だと思われた。SMQJと，Galexで測定されるアレキシサイミアとの相関については，SMQJと「体感・感情の認識不全」がr=.30の有意な相関を示したが，「空想・省察の不全」とは無相関であった。また，SMQJの因子分析の結果，２因子が抽出されたが，この因子分析によってSMQJの項目の１つについて日本語訳を修正する必要性が示唆された。No 本研究では，教育実習生における感情労働の継時変化を把握するとともに，それが精神的疲労感とどのように関連しているかについて明らかにすることを目的とした。教育実習生140名を対象とし，実習１週、４週の終期に感情労働とPOMSによる精神的疲労感の測定を行った。その結果、感情労働は「指導的感情表出」において上昇し，POMS得点では，いずれの下位尺度でも得点の低下を示した。また，POMS得点と感情労働の関係では，「自己感情表出の操作」が２回の調査を通じ，一貫してPOMS得点に影響していた。これらをうけ，実習生の感情労働の獲得，その心理的役割についての教育の必要性について検討が行われた。No 幼児の異文化適応のプロセスに焦点を当てた心理臨床学的研究はほとんど見当たらないが，グローバル社会における幼児の異文化適応における心理支援を考える上では，検討が必要である。本研究では事例研究法を用い， １人の幼児の異文化適応のプロセスを意識の発達という視点から検討を行った。その結果，集団の意識と個の意識という対極的な意識を統合し，また国や民族といった表層の差異を越えた，人間としての普遍性の次元でつながりを確立することで，幼児の異文化適応が深化していると考えられた。また，その異文化適応の心理支援の際に配慮すべきことについて検討を行った。No potential conflict of 幼少期に安定した愛着が形成されなかった子どもは，さまざまな心の問題を抱える可能性がある。しかし，児童期の愛着についての知見はまだ浅く，愛着に問題を抱える子どもに対する適切な支援がなされているとは言い難い。そこで本研究では，BowlbyとAinsworthによる愛着の定義にできるだけ忠実に，児童期の安定型，アンビヴァレント型，回避型の愛着パターンを測定する質問紙尺度を作成することを目的とした。中・四国の小学校５校のうち、５〜６年生に作成した質問紙を実施した。その結果、安定型、回避型、アンビヴァレント型の３因子が抽出された。その後の検討で、信頼性・妥当性が確認された。また、５つのクラスターからは、「回避ーアンビヴァレント型」の児童のリスクの高さが示された。No Okayama2758-6138162018メンタライゼーション査定面接改訂版（MAI-R）の作成2735EN10.18926/66627本研究では，メンタライジング能力を測定するために，対人葛藤場面についての「メンタライゼーション査定面接改訂版」 (Mentalization Assessment Interview-the Revised Version; MAI-R) を作成した。MAI-Rは高い内的整合性を有しており，２名の評定者の評定同士も高い相関を示した。また，MAI-Rの妥当性については，MAI-R総得点は，愛着回避とは低い負の相関を示した。そして，MCQ-30によって測定された「心配への注目」および「思考の制御」とは有意な正の相関を示した。共感との関連については，EESRで分類された共感の4タイプの間でMAI-Rの得点に有意差は認められなかった。つまり，MAI-Rは，高い内的整合性および評定者間信頼性を示したが，妥当性が充分に証明されたとは言えない。No 本研究では，メンタライジング能力を簡便に測定するメンタライジング能力尺度を作成した。因子分析の結果，５因子27項目が抽出された。第５因子に負荷する項目群を除いて一応の内的整合性があることが確認された。因子ごとに不統ーな結果も見られ，下位尺度ごとに得点の高低の意味が異なり，ポジティブな意味とネガティブな意味の両方をもっていると思われる下位尺度もみられた。下位尺度のα係数が第１因子を除いて.80に達しておらず，第５因子は.62であることから，項目内容を再検討し，項目数を増やすことも必要であろう。さらに，回答方法を変更することも検討課題である。一部使用した尺度において明確な関連がみられなかったこともあり，新たな尺度や他の尺度との関連から妥当性を検討することも必要であると考えられた。No
