| Abstract | There are many limitations and difficulties in terms of expanding agricultural lands. Also, some other factors affect the agricultural lands that result in decreases such as climate change, erosion and misuse of the lands. It is clear that these developments in agricultural land use threaten the future of human welfare, social conditions, economic growth and food supply. In this study, we examined the land use and its significance that represent past agriculture and regional characteristics in the Chugoku region including Okayama prefecture and the Seto Inland Sea. Specifically, among the products called as industrial crops, such as cotton, pyrethrum, rush, tobacco, rapeseed, mulberry and tea, were adopted as the indicators. Currently, these landscapes can hardly be seen, only leaves of tobacco and tea can still be seen in mountainous areas. Even in agricultural land usewhich has almost disappeared now, it may have indirect influence as in the case of reclaimed land and rush products. Therefore, we reaffirmed in this study the reasons for their existence and their significance. |

| Abstract | The contribution of cereals to economies is undoubtedly very important and has many dimensions in terms of use of cultivated areas, agricultural production, nutrition, domestic and foreign trade and national income. In this study, we examined the characteristics of agricultural production in Okayama prefecture from the viewpoint of grain, beans and potatoes excluding rice, wheat and barley in the long term. These are undoubtedly supposed to have a certain role in complementing the function as the staple food of rice and wheat, etc.Also, according to our literature investigations, researchers have not focused on this context for Okayama Prefecture by not spending enough attention in the past. Therefore, we focus on these subjects in this paper by examining a historical significance. It is observed that some planting area and yield of crops have drastically reduced in Okayama prefecture. |

| Abstract | The current ratio of dependence on food in Japan has remarkably grown and the significance of food self-sufficiency by concurrent agriculture may decline, while importantly conserving the natural environment, appropriate management of farmland. Okayama prefecture has an agricultural trend over more than 100 years of rice, barley and wheat cropping area with the rise and fall of its agricultural land use from the prior to the Industrial Revolution in Japan. Although rice reduction policy in Japan is scheduled to end in 2017, Japan is strongly subject to rice compared to other grains. In order to understand the role and scope of the agricultural sector in Okayama pref., it is necessary to review the changes in the related agricultural products for the long term. In Okayama pref., the cultivation and processing of some industrial crops including sericulture sector were thriving in the past, but, commercial agriculture was not well developed and the meaning of the production of cereals was greater than current production. Considering the part of agricultural characteristics by examining the cultivation of crops over the long term, planting area survey by variety confirmed that the greatest feature of rice cultivation in Okayama pref. is the diversity of varieties. In addition to various rice varieties, agriculture in Okayama pref. has a high sustainability, resistance and flexibility against changes on climate, policies and land use. |

| Abstract | 本研究の目的は、近年増加傾向にある日本留学を経て日本企業に就職した台湾人元留学生を対象とし、職場における自己の存在意義と自分の職場の意味をどのように捉えているかを質的な分析を通して解明することである。就労開始後10 年以内の台湾人元大学院留学生9 名を対象に半構造化インタビューを実施し、KJ 法を援用し分析を行った結果、自己の存在意義計29 件、職場の意味計31 件が抽出された。この結果から、本調査対象者は、多文化就労場面における元留学生である自己の存在意義を見出せるケースと見出せないケースが拮抗していること、また、自分の職場を概ね肯定的に捉えているものの、同時に二律背反的な見方が一個人の中に併存することが示された。 |

| Abstract | 本研究では、2000 年1 月から2017 年3 月にかけて、岡山大学に在籍する留学生が遭遇した交通関連領域の事案121 件のデータを整理分類し、その実態を明らかにした。交通関連の問題は大きく3 つに分類することができる。すなわち、①交通事故、②違法行為、③その他である。交通事故が全体の65％を占めるが、事故の形態に着目すると、留学生が自転車を運転中に発生した事故が交通事故全体の4 分の3 を占める。この事実から留学生に対して自転車の安全な乗り方に関する教育を実施する必要があると判断される。本稿では留学生の自転車マナー向上に関する対策についても言及する。また、留学生が事故の被害者であるケースが40 件存在する一方、加害者であるケースも15 件存在し、留学生が一方的に事故の被害者ではないという事実も明らかになった。 |

| Abstract | キャリア教育における教育効果を測るとき、評価項目を多元的に構築した試みを踏まえて、実際に2016 年度第4 学期に2 つのキャリア教育授業科目で評価測定を行った。そして、この評価測定を踏まえて、多元的自己評価の有用性について検証を試みた。特に、本稿では教育目標に関して認知的に自己評価できる領域と非認知能力を自己評価できる領域から個々の学生の受講前－受講後の変化を抽出して、領域間の相関関係について検討した。その結果、カリキュラム内で予め設定した関連づけられる評価項目においては、領域間の相関関係を見出すことができた。また、関連づけられない評価項目との相関関係についての検討も試みた。以上から、多元的自己評価に関する一定の有効性を提起できたとともに、そこからの今後の課題についても整理することができた。 |

| Abstract | 周知の通り、朱憙（一一三○～一二○○。朱子は尊称）の『論語』解釈は、中国思想の発展に寄与しただけではなく、日本や朝鮮半島などの東アジアの思想の発展にも大きな影響を与えたものである。だが、『論語』には「道」「心」「徳」「君子」などの中国哲学の概念が随所に現れており、朱子哲学においてのそれらの概念の含意を明確に解明しない限り、朱子の『論語』解釈の全内容を理解することは極めて難しいと思われるのである。筆者は、長年に渡って朱子哲学の研究に力を注ぎ、いままでは既に、「朱子の「太極」と「気」（岡山大学『大学教育研究紀要』第七号、二○一一年）「朱子の「神」」（岡山大学『大学教育研究紀要』第八号、二○一二年）「朱子の「心」」（京都大学『中國思想史研究』第三十四號、二○一三年）「朱子の「理」」（岡山大学『大学教育研究紀要』第十号、二○一四年）「朱子の「情」」（岡山大学『大学教育研究紀要』第十一号、二○一五年）「朱子の「変化気質」」（『岡山大学大学院社会文化学科研究科紀要』第四三号、二○一七年）「朱子の「君子」」（『岡山大学大学院社会文化学科研究科紀要』第四四号、二○一七年）などの論文を発表した。その朱子哲学の研究を通じて、筆者は、上記の諸論文、及び『四書章句集注』（新編諸子集成、中華書局、一九八三年）と『朱子語類』（全八冊、宋・黎靖徳編、王星賢点校、一九九四年）、特に『朱子語類』に所収の「論語（一～三十二）」（巻第十九～五十）に基づいての、『論語集注』を主とする朱子の『論語』解釈の現代日本語の完全翻訳を作成することが必要だと強く思うようになったのである。本稿では、『論語集注』（前掲の『四書章句集注』に所収）の「學而第一」の朱子の集注を和訳することと、『論語』學而第一の原文を主に『朱子語類』（前掲）に所収の「論語（一～三十二）」に記録されている朱子の説明に基づいて和訳することを試 みる。 |

| Abstract | 本稿は、2014 年8 月から12 月の間に実施した留学生および日本人学生間の言語交換の実践報告である。言語交換後に提出された感想文およびやり取りの録音データの分析から、言語交換を通して生の言語使用および文化が学べることや、同年代との言語学習の楽しさによるモチベーションの向上が効果として見られた。一方で、教材やSkype 通話の問題、母語ではない言語を教授することの限界や、母語であっても言語に関する質問への対応の難しさが観察された。 |

| Abstract | 本稿では20世紀初めに日本人のための朝鮮語学習書および韓国人のための日本語学習書として金島苔水と廣野韓山により刊行された『韓語敎科書』(1905年)について、韓国語の単語と文およびその仮名音注を分析し、本書に現れる20世紀初めの韓国語の特徴(音注・語彙・助詞・語尾)を概観する。著者の金島苔水は1900年代から1930年代にかけて朝鮮語と中国語の学習書を多数出版しているが、内容の充実度や正確さより商業出版物の性格が重要視されているといわれる。それゆえ本書のハングル表記には多くの誤記がみられる。また、李斗璜（1858年～1916年）が金島苔水の一部の著述に関わったことも分かる。本書には開化期の口語的な特徴がよく反映されており、開化期の商業関連用語も多く現れる。今後、金島苔水の他の著作を総合的に考察し、明治期の他の朝鮮語学習書や韓国人のための日本語学習書を考察することで、現代韓国語の形成過程をより明らかにできると期待される。 |

| Abstract | 教養教育科目『インストラクショナルデザイン入門』において活用したLMS（Moodle）の学習ログについて分析を行った結果、本授業では小テストやアンケートの出題直後や課題の締め切り日にアクセス数が多く、特に課題の締め切り日として設定していた月曜日のアクセス数が多いことが分かった。また、土日のアクセス数は平日に比べて少ない傾向がみられた。今後、さらにLMS を活用して授業外での学修を促進するためには、これらの状況を踏まえ、学生の課外活動の状況や学修行動の特性も考慮したうえで、課題や小テストを設定していく必要があるだろう。 |

| Abstract | In this paper, I aim to portray the state and future prospects of global education in Japan from the perspective I have gained from my engagement in the operation of the Special Program for Global Human Resource Development at Okayama University. While doing so, I hope I can bring some clarity to such hot but amibiguous concepts or activities as globalization, global education, global human resources development, etc. Also, I will offer some suggestions thoughtful considerations of which I believe will lead to richer rewards from the joint endeavors of hardworking people at Okayama University. |
