イギリスの風土と景観構成―人間らしい環境創造への軌跡

The landscape in England is analyzed with regard to its climate, natural features, industry and history. First, the landscape of towns and villages in Cortswald, which is now called the heart of England, is introduced and its special features are analyzed with respect to the layout of facilities and houses. Second, the remains of prehistoric and ancient times, which are important components of landscape in England, are analyzed concerning to the features of their existing space. Finally, the characters of landscape of some cities in middle ages are considered in connection with circumstances in those days.
