| Abstract | 1.散播水稲においては,発芽苗立ちの良否は直接収量に結びつく. 2.西南暖地においては,発芽,苗立ちを悪くする原因に2つあり,第1は,浮泥が種子にかぶさるためであり,第2は,硫化物の発生による土壌還元によるものである. 3.前者は,埴質土壌で起り易く,湛水代掻後,浮泥を沈殿させてから播種することによって防止できる. 4.後者は土性の如何を問わず,有機物の多い水田で,地水温の高い場合に発生し易い. 暗渠排水,落水などにより酸素を与えるか,播種後2～3日目に硝酸塩の適量を施して,硫化物の発生を防ぐことによって防止できる。
