Ion channel proteins are an attractive research target in biophysics, because their functions can be measured at the single-molecule level with high time resolution. In addition, they have attracted attention as targets for drug discovery because of their crucial roles in vivo. Although electrophysiological methods are powerful tools for studying channel proteins, they suffer from low measurement efficiency and require considerable skill. In our previous paper, we reported that by immobilizing channel proteins on agarose gel beads and forming an artificial lipid bilayer on the bead surface, we simultaneously solved two problems that had been hindering the efficiency of the artificial bilayer method: the time-consuming formation of artificial lipid bilayers and the time-consuming incorporation of channels into artificial bilayers. Previous studies have utilized crosslinked hard beads; however, here we show that channel current measurement can be achieved more simply and efficiently using non-crosslinked soft beads. In this study, we detailed the process of immobilizing channel proteins on the surface of non-crosslinked beads through chemical modification, allowing us to measure their channel activity. In this review, we summarize our achievements in the study of PADs and portable photometers. Understanding the biophysical properties of hBK channels is crucial for drug development. Artificial lipid bilayer recording is used to measure biophysical properties at the single-channel level. However, this technique is time-consuming and complicated; thus, its measurement efficiency is very low. Previously, we developed a novel technique to improve the measurement efficiency by rapidly forming lipid bilayer membranes and incorporating ion channels into the membrane using a hydrophilically modified gold probe. To further improve our technique for application to the hBK channel, we combined it using the gold probe with a liposome fusion method. Using a probe on which liposomes containing hBK channels were immobilized, the channels were efficiently incorporated into the lipid bilayer membrane, and the measured channel currents showed the current characteristics of the hBK channel. Factors such as tool geometry, machining path, work material characteristics, machining efficiency, and finishing accuracy must be taken into consideration. However, the current method of determining cutting conditions relies heavily on the intuition and experience of skilled engineers, and there is a need for a system to replace such knowledge. One of the critical factors affecting machining accuracy and efficiency is the tool overhang length, which is directly related to tool geometry. Unfortunately, there is no clear guideline for its determination. In a previous study, researchers developed a system to quickly derive cutting conditions using a data mining method and Random Forest Regression (RFR) applied to a tool catalog database. In this study, we constructed a new cutting condition compensation system based on the existing model, which accounts for the tool overhang length. en-abstract= In many local municipalities, in addition to revitalizing existing businesses and creating new businesses, attracting manufacturing plants remains an important policy for regional development. Today, unlike the attraction of heavy, large-scale industries during the period of high economic growth, there is a trend to attract companies by making the most of the region's advantages. Although the job creation effect has become smaller than in the past, many manufacturing industries remain positioned as core industries in the region. During the first period of regional revitalization, we identify what manufacturing firms have disappeared, withdrawn, appeared, or survived in what regions, and analyze the factors behind those.
 Comparing manufacturing firms in 2014 and 2019, the average of value-added and the distribution of that shows that manufacturing firms that existed in both 2014 and 2019 had the highest labor productivity. The next highest was manufacturing firms that existed in 2019, and the lowest was manufacturing firms that existed in 2014 but did not exist in 2019. In addition, the results of the logit analysis suggest that manufacturing firms with high productivity and large size tend not to disappear, and that manufacturing firms with a high degree of urbanization tend to disappear. On the other hand, a regression analysis at the city/town/village level using industry concentration by industry and urban concentration measured by population size as explanatory variables showed a positive effect on the number of manufacturing firms that had been established. kn-abstract= 地方に位置する多くの自治体においては,従来からある事業所の活性化や新規事業所の誕生に加えて,製造工場の誘致は地域振興にとっていまも重要な政策となっている。今日,高度経済成長期における重厚長大型の産業の誘致とは異なり,地域優位性をできるだけ活用した企業誘致の傾向になっている。雇用創出効果は昔に比べて小さくなっているとはいえ,製造業の多くにおいて,地域の基盤産業としての位置づけは残っている。第1期の地方創生の期間で,どのような地域において,どのような製造工場が消失,撤退や出現,存続しているのかを識別し,それらの要因を分析する。

The archaeological analysis was conducted typologically using 3D data from SfM and the physical and chemical analysis was conducted using magnetic susceptibility.
 In Mimasaka, Bizen, and Bicch? provinces, the use of a common plan of a box-shaped pagoda was confirmed in the first half of the 14th century. In this region, the orientation of the width of the nine rings, the angle of the foundation tier shape, and other related characeristics were found to be consistent in all the analyzed pagodas.

The first purpose of this paper is to verify the authenticity of the photograph. I therefore examined whether the contents of the photograph were consistent with the landscape of the Meiji period and whether it was possible to take it with the photographic equipment and technology of the time. As a result, I confirmed that there was no contradiction in its contents, and it also became clear that it could have been taken with the equipment and technology of the time. Next, I examined when the photograph was taken based on its contents and known records. 筆者等は,音楽授業での指揮状況を向上させる方策として,授業での教員の立ち位置と指揮の仕方に注目した。異なる立ち位置と異なる指揮の仕方で演奏した場合,各々の演奏が音響学的にどのように変化するのか音カメラ装置で測定した。併せて,各々の演奏に対して受講学生の印象調査を行った。音響特性から,指揮の仕方によって,音節が明瞭になること(スペクトログラムの濃さ),ビブラートに変化が見られること(「ゆれ」の表れ),音量が変化すること(音圧レベル),音価が異なってくること(時間軸波形)が示された。印象調査からは,指揮者が,ピアノの位置で指揮をするのに比べて,合唱者の前で指揮をすることで,アゴーギク,ディナーミック,表現の豊かさに対する演奏の評価が大きく反転した。指揮の仕方では,形式的な指揮に比べて,音楽的な要素を入れた指揮をすると,アゴーギク,ディナーミック,息の流れの演奏評価が高くなった。さらに,音響特性と音楽表現との関連性が視覚的に確認され,特に,「ゆれ」(ビブラート)の頻出は,音楽表現を豊かにすることが示された。 en-abstract=Recently, TV broadcasters have been collecting and utilizing non-personal TV viewing log data, including start and end times of viewing, from TVs connected to the Internet in a format that does not identify individual viewers. However, since each broadcaster can only use its own non-personal TV viewing log data, it has not yet been able to obtain useful knowledge despite the vast amount of data it has accumulated. In addition, the collection methods and data granularity of non-personal TV viewing log data vary from station to station, and the data accumulated by each station cannot be integrated and used. In this paper, we propose a method for matching non-specific viewing history data collected by each broadcaster using its own method, and design and implement a simulator to evaluate the proposed method. The proposed method estimates that TVs whose channel transition timing matches five items collected at the time of viewing history data collection (IP address, zip code, manufacturer ID, browser major version, and browser minor version) are the same TVs. In addition, we designed a simulator that reproduces viewer behavior and applied this method to the viewing history data synthesized from the simulator. As a result, we succeeded in matching approximately 2.41 million TVs out of the 2.5 million units of data generated, showing an identification rate of 96.5%. kn-abstract=近年,各テレビ放送局において,個人を特定しない形式で,インターネット接続されたテレビから視聴開始時刻や視聴終了時刻等を含む非特定視聴履歴データを収集し,利活用する取り組みが進められている.しかし,各放送局は自局の非特定視聴履歴データしか利用できないため,膨大なデータを蓄積しているにもかかわらず,有用な知見を得るまでに至っていないのが現状である.さらに,非特定視聴履歴データの収集方式やデータ粒度は,各局各様となっており,各局が蓄積したデータを統合し,利用することもできていない.そこで本論文では,各局が独自の方式で取得している非特定視聴履歴データを放送局間で統合する手法を提案し,評価するためのシミュレータ設計と実装を行い,提案手法の評価を行う.

The traditional economic base model in the field of regional science contributes to identifying regional income producing industries and labor absorption. The economic base model has some conditional assumptions while it is quite tractable.
 Recently, papers by Moretti and others show significant regional multiplier effects of innovative jobs. They refocused on the traditional economic base model. However, their approach has several deficiencies concerning the identification of basic/non-basic industries and ambiguity of multiplier generating mechanisms.
 This paper focuses on regional specialization of knowledge intensive industries and creative jobs which are the driving forces of regional development in the framework of the economic base model. The estimations of regional economic multiplier in terms of employment are carried out using two-digit employment and three-digit job classification data at local municipality level with two-period data. Using these data, I explain regional differences by degree of specialization of knowledge intensive industries and creative workers. By doing this, I propose contemporary regional economic policy. According to Ishibashi (2019), the length of the source fault was estimated to have been less than 100 km and the earthquake magnitude was roughly estimated to have been around 7.5. In order to attempt to reproduce the interpretation, we conducted two different strong ground motion simulations: the attenuation equation method and the characterized source model method, both used in the Headquarters for Earthquake Research Promotion. We simulated earthquake ground motions based on several source fault models including estimation by Ishibashi (2019). For the length of the fault, a 100 km length corresponding to the Iyonada segment of the Median Tectonic Line active fault system was the first model and 130 km and 160 km models extending onshore to the northeast were taken into account as epistemic uncertainties. Regarding the dip angle of the fault, both 40 and 90 degree models were considered also as epistemic uncertainties. Our calculation with other uncertainties shows that the models with a fault length of 100 km with a dip angle of 90 or 40 degrees are consistent with the seismic intensity and seismogenic fault length of offshore fault estimated by Ishibashi (2019) based on reliable first-grade documents. If low-certainty intensity estimates by Ishibashi (2019) are used to evaluate fault length in our calculation, the possibility of 130 or 160 km length models with additional onshore faults will remain. Our results show that the strong ground motion simulation could reinforce the expert’s interpretation of historical documents and propose quantitative source fault models for historical earthquakes. The records show about 3 s of small amplitude arrival (so-called "initial rupture phase") followed by the onset of the main energy release ("main rupture phase"). In this paper we address the issue: where the seismic energy release corresponding to the main rupture phase started at the primary stage of the main rupture, by locating the main rupture onset position. For this aim we applied the 2D and the 3D search methods to estimate the relative location of the onset of the main rupture with respect to the hypocenter, and the time difference between them. The 2D method assumes a plausible initial fault plane and locates the main rupture onset position on the initial fault plane, while the 3D method does not require such assumed fault planes. In the 2D method we employed each of the nodal planes of the first-motion focal mechanism as the initial rupture plane. The 3D method was able to give a better solution than the 2D one. It suggests that the main rupture initiation point might not be on the same fault plane as the hypocenter is. The solution shows that the main rupture onset point is 5.8 km southward and 2.5 km upward from the hypocenter, with the rupture time of 3.3 s from the origin time. of Japan using 2019 National Survey of Family Income, Consumption and Wealth( NSFICW). NSFICW is a large-scale survey with sample size of about 48,000 households for consumption expenditure and about 92,000 households for household revenue. We usually have saving rates of households, but those of individual are needed to investigate the effects of the decreasing birthrate and aging population on the average saving rates of macroeconomic level. This paper estimates the saving rates by age group. Some assumptions of transfers of income within a household are set. The results show the appropriate patterns of saving rates for age group, which are consistent to the life-cycle hypothesis. The saving rates of age after the middle 30s until 50s are in the rage between 30 to 38 percent. Then the rates drop after retirement. The rate over 75 years old is 1.3 percent. The purpose of this class is to equip students with the ability to teach subjects and to cultivate a wide range of knowledge about industry. For this reason, "what can be done", "what to learn", "how to learn", "how to support the development of each person", "what has been learned", and "implementation". We aimed to develop the ability to create lessons from the six perspectives of "what is needed for this". The seed in which seed coat cracked germinated earlier, and it was shown that their cumulative germination percentage was high even under 30 °C constant conditions. When the fresh weight of the rhizome cut pieces in the spring became greater than 15 g, the individual plant flowering rate increased gradually. Individuals of more than 30 g achieved a flowering rate higher than 76 %. The flow-ering rate was highest for individual plants that had two green leaves, but it became progressively lower for increas-ing numbers of green leaves:non-flowering individuals grew better than flowering individuals. In the 0 cm height scape-cutting treatment, no significant difference was found in the numbers of flowers and fruits the next year. Dating to the second half of the Late Kofun period (latter 6th century), this mounded tomb has traditionally been considered either the largest keyhole-shaped mounded tomb in the Bizen area of this period (total length of either 67 m or 75 m) or a round tomb with a diameter of approximately 30 m. Details of the tomb’s size and shape have long been uncertain, owing to the lack of detailed survey mapping of the mound and its environs. In this paper, the authors present their findings on the shape and size of the mounded tomb based on high-quality three-dimensional data acquired through airborne LiDAR survey utilizing a drone; they suggest that the tomb is a keyhole-shaped mounded tomb measuring approximately 75 m in length. This mounded tomb is therefore the second largest mounded tomb of the Kibi region during the period, following the K?morizuka mounded tomb located in S?ja city. Known as the Easterlin Paradox, even if a country's economic indicators, such as GDP per capita, increase, it does not mean that the average level of happiness of the people increases along with it. However, such theories as the relative income hypothesis indicate that income influences life satisfaction at the individual level. In this paper, the author analyzes subjective well-being and economic indicators at the individual level. Results indicate that the magnitude of the correlations among these variables differs by age. In the younger working-age group, increase in consumption, as well as in income, has positive effects on overall life satisfaction more significantly than in the retired group. This is because consumption of the younger group is lower than the desired level due to budget constraints. For those in their 50s, job satisfaction tends to be more significant. This is a study of the effects that have occurred. Specifically, using the“ Business Japanese” curriculum, which is part of the career education of the “IT + Foreign Language” program, as an example, how students can acquire useful knowledge for job hunting such as Japanese corporate culture, self-understanding, and business manners. We measured the expected value and satisfaction level of this subject as to how it affects the improvement of employment awareness. As a result, by subject, science course students had higher expectations and satisfaction than liberal arts (humanities) course students, and in terms of self-understanding, the average value that was good before taking the course was low, confirming the effectiveness of this course. The report presents web-based information about devices and services for remote monitoring and health management using information and communication technology and about how they can improve home care nursing station efficiency in Japan. The search terms "elderly people," "watch over," and "service," plus "sensor" were used to narrow the search. After repeating the search using a chained search for materials and links extracted from those search results, services for home care stations particularly addressing the remote monitoring of elderly people were selected and extracted. Early detection of abnormalities for support by home health nurse responsibilities for observing the general condition of the patient was chosen as the main evaluation index of usefulness. The contractor and service cost were secondary evaluation axes. Results show 9 information communication devices and services for real-time monitoring of the elderly persons’ vital signs in real time for 24 hr, 2 of which are highly useful for early detection of abnormalities and subsequent response. Results suggest that other services might be more useful, depending on how they are used, and that general-purpose services with minimum functions and low cost of introduction and maintenance can provide more opportunities for utilization.
