| Abstract | Quality control in mass-reared melon files, Bactricera cucurbitae, after eradication is discussed, based on the results of artificial selection experiments. First, a brief history of quality control in mass-rearing of insects is described. In practical mass-rearing of melon fly, many traits habe already been differentiated between mass-reared and wild files. These differing traits are reviewed and the factors which caused these differences are considered. It was considered that the differences between wild and mass-reared melon files depended on the selection pressures from the mass-rearing method. Next, the results of several artificial selection experiments using the melon fly are reviewed. Finally, consideration is given to some correlated responses to artificial selection in mass-rearing. Longevity that is correlated to early fecundity was successfully controlled by artificial selection for reproduction in the mass-rearing system. On the basis of these results, an improved method for quality control in mass-reared melon fly with considerations for quantitative genetics is discussed. |

| Abstract | この和漢聯句作品は、岡山県教育委員会（文化課）の企画で、昭和六十一年七月から八月にかけて行なった、曹源寺歴史資料調査の際、岡山大学文学部の工藤進思郎氏らと共に調査員に加わり発見したものである。この資料に関しては、すでに私自身、『曹源寺所蔵歴史資料目録』に、その概要を簡単に紹介している。しかし、書写の古さや内容からみても、貴重な聯句資料と判断されるので、ここで改めて資料翻刻を行ない、広く連歌・聯句研究者に提供したい。 |

| Abstract | 「兼好自撰家集」の和歌作品としての評判は、はなただ芳しくない。南北朝期の自筆稿本は現在するものの、他に室町時代の古写本を瞥見した体験もないし、兼好の和歌が室町期の歌論書に正面から問題にされることもない。また、影響や享受の方面から眺めても、同じ和歌四天王の一人である頓阿の「草庵集」の甚大さと比較してみても、あまりに微弱である。 |

| Abstract | 「徒然草」の筆者兼好が、仏教説話集である「宝物集」を繙読していたという確実な証拠はない。けれども「宝物集」の流布状況や他の作品に与えた影響力から判断して、その可能性は濃厚である。ここでは、両書に類似する思想あるいは共通する名言・成句・説話などを抽出し、他の説話集とも対比しながら、「宝物集」が「徒然草」の形成にどのように関わっていたかを、出典・典拠論とも絡めて論及した。 |
