Regarding survey methods, a questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale and open-ended responses was utilized. The findings revealed that learners recognized extensive reading as an effective strategy for improving their reading comprehension and vocabulary. Recently, the International Federation of Associations of Anatomists (IFAA) published guidelines that could restrict the appearance of cadaveric images in commercial anatomical resources such as textbooks and other educational products. These guidelines state that the donor must expressly consent to using such images for this purpose. Cadaveric photos and drawings made from dissections of cadavers have been used in anatomy textbooks and atlases for hundreds of years. They are invaluable for anatomy students and clinical/surgical practitioners. The IFAA guidelines should not restrict the use of those older books; to do so would infringe the rights of those seeking knowledge from these resources. As the images in such textbooks and atlases are anonymized and are used for teaching and research, and the donors and their families are informed about this before the donation, we believe no additional consent is needed. It is impossible to separate educational from “commercial” usage entirely in any situation, e.g., publications from publishers and the use of cadavers in medical schools. Therefore, our best efforts to avoid unethical use of cadaveric images by following traditional consent processes are still needed so that more people will reap the benefits from them. As senior textbook/atlas authors/editors from over 10 countries, we believe that using cadaveric images in anatomy textbooks is appropriate, and no additional consent should be necessary. Most of the important exceptions are not in Lectures on Jurisprudence (LJ); rather, they first appear in The Wealth of Nations (WN). These references seem to reflect a conscious shift in Smith’s policy principle from laissez-faire with small government to state intervention under big government. To compare small government with big, i.e. laissez-faire with government intervention, we must historically distinguish between two types of government intervention. The older type predated laissez-faire and included feudal governments, absolute governments and mercantilism, whereas the newer type includes various primitive forms of modern social or welfare states.<br>
Smith’s primary purpose in LJ is to criticise the older type of big government. In WN, he criticises the older big government in Books I, III and IV and promotes a newer type of government intervention in Books II and V, particularly regarding three important fields. First, he proposes regulating banking and financial markets in Book II of WN. Second, in contrast to LJ, where he gave little attention to public works and institutions, he considers them among the government’s three major duties in Book V of WN. Third, Smith drastically changes his views on taxation. He argues that they should be as light as possible in LJ, but in Book V of WN, he insists on increasing land taxes and abolishing taxes on necessaries; he also recommends introducing progressive taxes and abolishing regressive ones to achieve income redistribution.<br>

This paper seeks to categorize feelings of "Meiwaku/Burden" according to its relationship to the type of motivation they express. For this purpose, we focused on feelings of "Meiwaku/Burden" of elderly people in France. As there is no easily corresponding phrase in French for our word "Meiwaku/Burden", the French use several different words to express this sense "Meiwaku/Burden". Here we draw examples from Une mort très douce by Simone de Beauvoir, as well as her La Ceremonie des adieux.<br>
The analysis of examples given in these books indicates that "Meiwaku/Burden" of the elderly is motivated by three factors: relationships (déranger), emotions (ennuyer), and body/physical (gêner). Eighty-three children were followed from kindergarten to Grade 3 and tested on Hiragana reading accuracy in kindergarten, Hiragana word reading fluency in kindergarten and Grade 1, and Kanji reading accuracy in Grade 1 to Grade 3. Their parents answered a questionnaire about HLE [parent teaching (PT) in Hiragana and Kanji, shared book reading (SBR), and access to literacy resources (ALR)], parents' needs for early literacy support by teachers, parents' expectations for children's reading skills, parents' worry about children's homework, and mother's education level. Results showed first that ALR, but not PT and SBR, was associated with reading skills in Hiragana and Kanji. Second, whereas Hiragana reading in kindergarten was not associated with PT in Hiragana in kindergarten, it negatively predicted PT in Hiragana in Grade 1. However, Kanji reading accuracy was not associated with PT in Kanji across Grades 1 to 3. Third, parents' worry was negatively associated with children's reading performance across Grades 1 to 3 but positively associated with PT in Hiragana and Kanji. Finally, while parents' expectations were positively associated with children's reading performance across Grades 1 to 3, they were negatively associated with PT in Hiragana and Kanji in Grades 1 and 2. These results suggest that Japanese parents may be sensitive to both their children's reading performance and social expectations for school achievement and adjust their involvement accordingly during the transition period from kindergarten to early primary grades. Golgins are a group of proteins with coiled-coil structures that localize to the Golgi and are thought to function as tethers to facilitate the docking of vesicles, Rab GTPases, and cytoskeleton components to the Golgi stack. Giantin is the longest golgin and has been thought to function as a tether for COPI vesicles along with other golgins, such as p115 and GM130. Contrary to our expectation that the loss of the tether will result in an increase in untethered COPI vesicles in the cytoplasm, our electron microscopy observations showed that the fenestrae normally present in Golgi cisternae were reduced upon Giantin knockdown. We also found that this structural change is accompanied by altered secretion of cargo proteins and cell surface glycosylation. These results indicate that there exists a correlation between Golgi structural changes caused by the loss of Giantin and Golgi function. A neoplastic lesion was found in the left middle cranial fossa and was surgically removed. The diagnosis was radiation-induced osteosarcoma with RB1 gene alteration. Although she received chemotherapy for the residual tumor, it progressed 17 months later. Maximal surgical resection with craniofacial reconstruction was required. We utilized two three-dimensional models for surgical planning. She was discharged without neurological deficits other than loss of light perception subsequent to left ophthalmectomy. In 742, a Tang Dynasty monk named Jianzhen (Ganjin) was invited by Japanese clerics to visit Japan and teach commandments in Buddhism. Because of the dangers of the voyage and also other obstacles, he took 11 years to reach Japan on the sixth voyage and he was blind when he arrived in Japan. He was the first person in China to go to Japan to establish the Buddhism commandments, and he was also the first person in Japan to directly teach traditional Chinese medicine. Until now, there have been few reports in English about the details of the Chinese herbal medicines he brought to Japan, including the types of herbal medicines, pharmacological activities, and formulations. In the review, we systematically and comprehensively summarized Jianzhen’s life from the standpoint of his medical and pharmaceutical knowledge and the types and pharmacological activities of Chinese herbal medicines and prescriptions that were brought to Japan by Jianzhen; <br>
(2) Methods: A review was made on the relevant literature written by Chinese, Japanese, and English languages regarding the medical and pharmacological knowledge of Jianzhen, the 36 Chinese herbal medicines brought to Japan by Jianzhen, and the pharmacological and therapeutic effects of these 36 herbal medicines, as well as their formulations; <br>
(3) Results: The review of the literature proved that Jianzhen’s prescriptions served as a basis for current herbal medicines (Kampo) in Japan. In the process of the literature search, we found a book entitled Jianshangren (Holy Priest Jianzhen)’s Secret Prescription, which recorded the complete prescription of the 36 traditional Chinese medicines Jianzhen brought to Japan; <br>
(4) Conclusions: Jianzhen is one of the ancestors of traditional Chinese medicine/Kampo medicine, and he brought traditional Chinese medicine and medical books to Japan for patients. In addition, memory footprints have increased in size, as multiple programs are executed on a single computer. Many operating systems manage physical memory by paging a 4 KB page. Therefore, the number of entries in the virtual address translation table for virtual to physical increases along with the size of the memory footprints. This cause a decrease in the translation lookaside buffer (TLB) hit ratio, resulting in the performance degradation of the application. To address this problem, we propose the implementation of physical memory management with two page sizes: 4 KB and 4 MB. This allows us to expand range of addresses to be translated by a single TLB entry, thereby improving the TLB hit rate. This paper describes the design and implementation of the physical memory management mechanism that manages physical memory using two page sizes on The ENduring operating system for Distributed EnviRonment (Tender OS). However, users cannot detect when they communicate. Therefore, users might not be aware information leakage if app is malware. This paper proposes DroidTrack, a method for tracking the diffusion of personal information and preventing its leakage on an Android device. DroidTrack alerts the user of the possibility of information leakage when an app uses APIs to communicate with outside. These alerts are triggered only if the app has already called APIs to collect personal information. Users are given the option to refuse the execution of the API if it is not appropriate. However, limited information is available about cardiovascular events among ACHD patients. Here we investigated the type and frequency of cardiovascular events in ACHD patients in relation to disease complexity. We retrospectively analyzed the cases of 535 patients (median age 35 years) referred to our ACHD center between 2014 and 2017. We divided the patients into 3 groups based on their disease complexity. To evaluate the relationship between disease complexity and cardiovascular events, we performed univariate and multivariate survival analyses. The Simple, moderate, and complex disease groups accounted for 62%, 19%, and 19% of the patients, respectively. Apart from events related to atrial septal defect (ASD) trans-catheter treatment, the frequency of cardiovascular events was dependent on the disease complexity (event-free survival rates at 3 years were 85%, 65%, and 58%, respectively). The hazard ratios were 4.0 and 5.1 in the moderate and complex groups, respectively. With the exception of scheduled transcatheter intervention, cardiovascular events were strongly related to the disease complexity of original heart disease. Diffusion of Marxism and inflation of the concept “proletariat”</br>
The concept of “proletariat” is the central concept of Marxism. However, its content varies according to times and regions. For Marx and Engels, proletarias are workers who work in the capitalist large industries, they overthrow the rule of capitalists through the revolution and are the subjects of the construction of society in the future. Kautsky put workers in small factories and small farmers into the category of proletariat. Lenin overestimated capitalist development in Russia and included farmers without horses into proletariat. In Mao Zedong, agricultural workers, rumpen, handmade workers, peasants, clerks and peddlers are also allowed to participate in the revolution. The concept of proletariat is inflated. As the region moves away from the center of the world system, the scope of participants in the revolution has been expanded.</br>
2. “Proletariat” in Marx’s view on social development</br>
In Marx, proletariat is given a privileged position as a revolutionary subject in the capitalist society. In the “formulation” of historical materialism, modern bourgeois society is given a privileged position in human history. Proletariat is privileged in dual sense. In this formulation, there is no social antagonism in the future society that Marx believes. This future society should be called a “community without law and state”. It is recognized that the development of capitalist production increases the number of workers and the ordinary electoral system increases possibilities of acquiring a working-class regime. Still, Capital insists that the revolution is inevitable. Marx and Engels never abandoned “revolutionism” throughout their lives.</br>
3. Marx’s revolutionary strategy and British working class</br>
For Marx and Engels, England is a typical country of capitalistic development, giving models to other countries.However, the English working class in the mid-19th century was not “revolutionary”. The English labor movement during this period had been internalized under the guidance of the “labor aristocrat”. Working class was integrated as “nation”. While cooperating with the reformists politically, Marx was argueing revolutionism in scientific books. While cooperating with the reformists politically, Marx was advocating revolutionism in Capital. In modern bourgeois society, it is usual that labor classes are integrated into a system as “nation” and labor movement is to become reformistic, but Marx could not analyze this situation as a problem of upper structure of capitalism in general. In England Marx cooperated with the reformist labor movement, but could not abandon his revolutionism.</br>
4. Reform Movement and Revolutionism: German Revisionism Controversy and Russian Party Organization Controversy</br>
At the German Social Democratic Party, there was coexistence of reformistic practice and ideology of revolutionism. Kautsky was a personal expression of this coexistence. He adhered to revolutionism, but acknowledged that socialist consciousness was brought into labor movement from the outside historically. Bernstein claimed that revolutionism is an obstacle to workers’ reform movement. In the controversy concerning the organization of the Russian Social Democratic Party, from the standpoint of revolutionalism, Lenin argued that “external injection” is necessary because the workers’ reform movement and the revolutionary socialist movement are not directly connected. The revolutionary forces are not necessarily the product of the capitalist big industry. Those who have abilities to resist the capitalist system, they can participate in the socialist revolution through the “external injection” of the revolutionary party. It can be said that the logic of “external injection” made it possible to disseminate Marxism to the semi-periphery and periphery.</br>
5. Conclusion</br>
The Marxist revolution theory is understood as the theory of “revolution of developed countryies”. This is because it assumes the proletariat produced by the capitalist big industry as the revolutionary subject. In the case of Marx, its understanding is correct. However, the successful acquisition of the regime by the Marxist was in “backward countries”. It can be said that the key to solving this paradox was in the unreality of the concept of “proletariat” at the core of Marx’s revolutionism. Marx’s “proletariat” has no realities in the working class in center of modern capitalit world system （“developed capitalist countries”）. On the other hand, various anti-systemic forces were formed as a revolutionary subject entity or “proletariat” by “external injection” of the revolutionary parties in semi-periphery and periphery （the “backward areas”）. Rosa Luxemburg called as “clique management （Cliquenwirtschaft）” the regime that such forces could aquire. Utilizing this wage linked productivity measurement system Mr. Ohno stimulated his coworkers to get good results applying TPS know-how. Former Japanese governments saw them as a national disgrace and forced them to reside in leprosaria. Since the law requiring isolation continued after the silver bullet was developed, survivors could not leave the leprosaria and return to society. Currently, survivors’ average age is 82 and they live in 13 national sanatoriums. When they pass away, the history of Hansen’s disease in Japan will end, so we must record their experiences. We conducted qualitative and inductive studies with survivors. In this chapter, we reconstruct them from the perspective of bioethics and propose several theories surrounding them: (1) How former leprosaria and medical administrations in Japan threatened bioethical principles; (2) the wisdom of aging survivors, who lived through extreme situations, and what real restoration of their rights might look like; and (3) the ethical dilemmas of how we will care for the survivors—who have multiple severe sequelae—until they all pass away.
