In this study, chest X-ray and electrocardiogram by means of the conventional 12 lead and Nehb's lead, were taken in 96 persons aged more than 50 years. Fifty-two of them showed left ventricular hypertrophy upon the roentgenographic diagnosis. A comparative study was undertaken between the X-ray and E. C. G.
