| Abstract | We investigate self-dual codes from symmetric designs, specifically for the case when these designs are finite projective planes. We give a proof of the Bruck-Ryser-Chowla theorem in the case where a prime sharply divides the order in a coding-theoretic setting. We give constructions of self-dual codes arising from finite projective planes and also sudy the weight enumerators of the codes formed from projective planes. |
