| Abstract | 本研究は，現代教育改革の中で自律的学校経営が求められていることを受けて，学校経営の責任を担う校長に求められる資質能力を保障しうる資格要件の在り方と養成プログラムの開発を目的とするものである。そのための第1課題として，本論文では，戦後新たに校長免許状制度を導入した教育職員免許法の成立過程を分析し，その意味と意義を校長に求められる資質能力という観点から検討するものである。
