| Abstract | A method for linear analysis of AC steady state eddy currents in a moving conductor using a moving coordinate system is investigated. It is shown that the moving coordinate system is superior to a fixed coordinate system for the analysis of a high speed conductors from the standpoint of stability of the solution. The applicable extent of the moving coordinate system is also discussed for the modelling of electric machine characteristics |
