On the Hydroxylation of Unsaturated Aliphatic Compounds. : I. On the Hydroxylated Compounds of the Higher Unsaturated Fatty Alcohols.

Bouveault et Blanc法によりオレイン酸エチル,エライジン酸エチル,ブラシジン酸エチルを還元し,オレイルアルコール(収率58%),エライジルアルコール(収率81.4%),ブラシジルアルコール(収率76.4%)を調製し,これらについてDoree法によつて過酢酸酸化を行い,それぞれから, threo-9, 10-Dihydroxyoctadecan-1-ol (収率72%, m.p. 92℃), erythro-9, 10-Dihydroxyoctadecan-1-ol (収率82%, m.P. 131.5℃), erythro-13, 14-Dihydroxydocosan-1-ol (収率65%, m.P. 131.0℃)を得た。
