| Title Alternative | On the changes of the Golgi apparatus of the Liver and the Renal cells in the Rabbit subjected to an experimental Hakumai-byo

| Abstract | When the rabbit is subjected to an experimental Hakumaibyo, the liver cells swell, on the contrary the renal ones shrink. The development of the Golgi apparatus in both the cells is similary hindered, i. e. the elements of the apparatus become unstable and decrease in size and number. This change of the Golgi apparatus accounts for a decline of function of the liver as well as that of the kidney and is liable to become more marked with the process of the beri-beri-like symptom.
