Rabbits were blockaded with injections of trypan blue and Indian ink and their serum protein fractions were studied. α-globulin was remarkably high in the group of blockaded rabbits. γ-globulin in the group blockaded with trypanblue was 12.1%, 0.69g% (77% in control group) and that in the group blockaded with Indian ink was 11.5%, 0.66g% (73% in control group) indicating remarkable decreases. This means that the reticuloendothelium may play a role in the production of γ-globulin and that if its function is disturbed, the productin of γ-globulin will decrase. The above mentioned results reveal that hypo-γ-globulinaemia in dogs reared in high temperature and high humibity in chapters 1 and 2 is due to reticuloendotherial functional disturbances. Summarizing the results in chapters 1, 2 and 3, it is evident that hypo-γ-globulinaemia in Jusho-Shokafuryosho is due to reticuloendotherial functional disturbances caused by high temperature and high humidity and that high temperature and high humidity play an important role in the pathogenesis of this disease.
