察する。Jen Hadfield のT. S. Eliot Prize を受賞した詩集である。
Jen Hadfield は，2003年にも大きな別の文学賞，Eric Gregory Award を受賞しているが，
ここでは，より強烈な実験的詩
コレクション
集であるNigh-No-Place（2008年出版）を扱う。
活字・音声・韻律・舌・発声などのダイナミズムのうちに詩を考察することは，
ponepoetics（あるいはphonepoetics）の試みであり，「音読詩学（あるいは朗読詩学）」／
「朗読詩論」の展開と挑みとなる。
