| Abstract | We found a case of left-sided inferior vena cava(ivc) by chance upon upper abdominal CT examination. Left-sided ivc rarely presents clinical symptoms, but it is necessary to distinguish ivc from abnormal masses such as retroperitoneal tumors or lymphnodal swelling. We discussed left-sided ivc and the literature about it.
